Clean and dry units, fair pricing, straight forward instructions about how to access your unit any time, and the staff is great at timely and clear communications. I love working with Aurora Storage. A clutch service when you're in a big transition or move. They also sell good quality storage, packaging, and shipping materials.
Clean, friendly, and helpful; I've worked with both office and maintenance staff some move-ins are weirder than others and everyone's been just wonderful. My stuff's in a good place!
I wish I could give these guys 10 stars! They are awesome. Prices are a bit high but they have plenty of specials and honestly every storage place has high prices at the moment. I have been with this storage facility for almost a year now and they have worked with me so much like when I haven't been able to pay right away. They still charged me a decent late fee but most places would just say " Too Bad " and keep/sell your items. Thanks guys at 145th ST. Aurora Storage! I really appreciate it.
I have been renting storage here for the better part of 8 years. Have never had any problems, security cameras have off-site viewing so if anyone is there breaking in to units they won't be able to get at the tapes to conceal themselves. They do walk through checks every couple of hours looking for evidence of break-in issues. They are the least expensive storage facility with this kind of security. If you need a place to keep your things I recommend 145th Aurora Storage, and if you go and get storage there, tell them Michael Keith sent ya!!
There's a young man in unit 1066, who pees outside his unit! Someone else made a report as well but I would just like to get the word out. This guy sleeps in his unit as well, she has gone by and heard loud snoring. Honestly should look into it. We are grossed out. Not sure if you guys check cameras, but I would.
Had a mixed experience here. Maryellen, who initially signed me up for a 5x5 storage unit is a lovely lady, open mind set and very kind, always helpful and nice to talk to. Spike, who is the grounds keeper here is constantly at his job, keeping the place clean. Very professional. There was also a regional manager I ran into one day while paying rent that day during my 9 month stay; and she too was excellent. I didn't much care for the manager though, she rubbed me the wrong way a few times. Though I did sleep in my storage unit for a couple of hours one day against policy, as I had bronchitis and still needed to be at my unit to put away all my lighting equipment after a shoot, eventually feeling so ill that I had to lay down, and she ripped me for it. Some of the other tenants were cool, met a drummer who even offered me a deal on some of his equipment. The facility is in the vicinity of a casino, invariably bringing all the more unsavory elements with it at night time. I also ran into a very rude man who demanded "I get f$&@ away" from the keypad, as I had just stepped out of the vehicle to enter my code to get in the facility. He immediately assaulted me with all sorts of insults just because he wanted to use the keypad before me, even though his car was behind mine. Just looking for someone to take his unhappiness out on. The rental prices are a bit below something like public storage, but that's without insurance. Also from my observations, less advance security such as elevators without codes, and tall gates, along with blank spots in camera coverage. Hope this helps anyone prospectively looking to stay here.
Employees here are very nice and helpful! Place is always clean and no. "Riff-raff" running through or hanging out inside the gates! Competitive prices and the free remtal truck is a great deal when you are stretched tight from moving costs already !!
I CAN NOT say enough about this place. I was not treated like a stranger but rather a family member. Stacy took her time to explain EVERYTHING to me. Stacy is the WOW factor!!! She went above and beyond. Even when talking about the truck side of the move in, she was able to hear my concerns and offer solution. I will/would and have recommended 145 storage to people. I am in AWE behind the customer service I received. MAJOR KUDOS!!!!
Stacie and Spike were amazing!! Very helpful and knowledgeable they knew just what I needed I thought I needed a 10*10 but they suggested I look at the 5*15 and I was able to stack high and get the smaller space saving some money!! They also had great suggestions to pack and protect my stuff. They knew almost exactly how many boxes I needed by using an online box calculator and made sure my mattresses were protected with bags too!! I love this place it is beautifully maintained and great staff who are always willing to go the extra mile to earn and keep my buisness
My father has a unit here and while he has been going through some health issues I have been tasked downsizing his life for assisted living. The people here have been so nice and helpful when I've needed it. When you're going through this kind of change every helpful moment is important.
