I love this place. Great atmosphere and love sitting at the bar with either Gloria or Brandon. The 201 Club is my favorite. Big portions and great flavors. Try their homemade soups to get next level! Yum!
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, prompt service, and delicious food. We ate the stuffed tater tots, duck wontons with sweet and spicy chili sauce for appetizers. We would order the wontons just for the chili sauce. We ate dinner which was delicious, burger, club sandwich, and beef tip sandwich and had a couple of beers. Good beer choices on tap. Will definitely go again!
This place was absolutely terrific! We came in on a B I N G O night not expecting it. So, we were probably fortunate to get a booth. WE grabbed some grub and played some decided to play some BINGO while we waited. My lady had steak bites. They were SUPER tender and cooked perfectly with a tasty horseradish sauce AND some fried veggies with it. I had their mushroom n Swiss burger and fresh cut American fries. They served a generous portion and they were outstanding! The burger was done well, maybe a little over cooked for my liking, but it was thick, juicy, and delicious still! They also have pull tabs and cocktails, of course, so if that suits your fancy, go nuts. Overall, a terrific first experience. Oh, and our server was polite, deliberate, not over bearing, and simply on her game. Kudos.
I really like the atmosphere here and the way the interior was set up. It looks a lot nicer than most little bar/restaurants. The coolest part is the glass in the back that shows the outside and the stairs. Gives it a look that you don't see in basically any other place. The service is good. Nothing special but it gets the job done. The food as usual for me at these types of places is average. Actually.. Oddly enough the chicken tenders weren't even that good. I would recommend not spending too much here unless you are into the kind of bar food they have. On a plus, they have pull tabs!
I have now come to the 201 Tavern for three visits. My last visit was with a banking customer . We were there for three hours. The visit was so nice, but most importantly I took her to a place where the food is amazing. I'll be back...birthday, on 1-18 next year, with the fam! Peace Out and Pray 4 Peace!
The Tavern Club is a really good sandwich, I find myself craving them! Awesome onion rings but stay away from the French dip, it's pretty generic. The bar is clean and inviting and the service has always been great.
Terrible experience. A regular customer there. A friend of mine went to order a drink and the bartender called us b*tches because we were being ignored at the bar and said excuse me.She then said she wanted to fight us and called us all b*tches while we walked out the door. We asked for a manger upon returning and were asked what we wanted them to do about it and to leave. This was after I witnessed another costumer in the building have an issue with the same bartender and make a complaint. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never enter this establishment again. Horrible employee and manager. Edit: The business writes fake 5 star reviews if it receives a negative review. Definitely not a coincidence they received 6 5 star reviews at the same exact time after mine and other customers reviews were posted.
Love playing bingo here!!! Service can take a bit, especially on bingo days but the food is typically decent. I usually get one of their salads that is Delish!
Excellent spicy wings -- one fire will make ya sweat. There's a really good crowd here of eclectic folks, and the menu try the duck wontons, very different from the State Fair variety is really great matched up with a few local beers.Food: 5/5
Our group was having a great time last night 11/18/22, until we came to 201.. the chick with the glasses behind the bar was so inconsiderate to more than most people. Saying she wanted to fight them and calling them very rude names. I believe her name was claudia. Hire people that actually know what customer service is. I will be making sure to tell everyone that this place is worthless. Worthless management, worthless staff, and most importantly worthless service!! 201 tavern should be called ratchet tavern. Just from the service more than most people received. No one deserves to be treated that way under any circumstances. Do better 201! Worst experience ever.
