24 Hour Fitness - Saddle Brook, NJ

This place has horrible customer service and is filthy. The young lady at the front named Naomi is very rude and does not know how to talk properly to people. The place is absolutely filthy and they try closing up at around 11:30pm. The GM is also rude and very stuck when complaints are presented to her. I still do not know how they haven’t switched up management here yet.

Where to begin..... I’ve been a member here for about 15yrs even back when it was called Ballys. So now 24hr fitness took over and hasn’t been any major changes. Most of the machines are old and since they took over they only changed about6-7 new ones. Pool area is not as clean as it should be. Member are not the greatest just because most they use a machine and they just leave without wiping after them. Also that Gym doesn’t provide towels as other 24hr fitness locations do. Almost nobody puts the weight back to where they got them. And I left the best for last...men’s locker room is a filthy, dirty, smelly place. What I’ve notice when I go in there is ppl go under the blower all sweaty and they stink up the whole place up. Every time I go in to wash my hands I have to take a deep breath and get out as quick as possible before I faint. And the floors are always flooded, I just don’t know how management don’t see these issues and improve them. I go there for the convenience: I’ll try to post some pictures when I get a chance.

Late night staff is nice, place is clean aside from dust on some of the equipment. It would be nice if 24 hour fitness would live up to its name in all aspects. The jacuzzi and sauna close early apparently. This is the only 24 in the area I know that’s actually 24 hours. If I’m going to a gym like this for 24 hour access, and paying more than planet fitness— why are the amenities closed when I’m able to work out? Why should I choose 24 over the brand new planet closer to my house? I’m a little disappointed lately, but the gym is good.

I love this gym but classes never start on time. Instructor always late. Machines work great! Steam room always packed with people. Hours of operation is not 24/7. Great customer service! I like the vegetable smoothie drinks. Atmosphere overall is Good.

Bad excuse for a 24 hr fitness gym. No towels. Toilet paper seems to runout a lot and they don’t seem to have more on stock. Equipment seems like it’s from the 80’s. The sinks in the bathroom are those old school ones that you push the hot/cold nozzle down and it releases water for 5 seconds, then you have to press down the nozzle again. Some of the nozzles only work if you hold them down. This gym is in some serious need of renovation. I try not to come here unless I absolutely have to.

Gym is good but I'm looking for better! Classes never start on time. Equipment excellent but some employees are not customer friendly. I love Sauna too. Too bad there's no buddy passes. I got screamed at last time I tried to bring my brother. They didn't offer any family packages or anything!

There is no way to cancel or freeze the gym membership without going in person .the reason why people join a 24-hour gym is that they cannot go during regular hours.. what is the point of having a member come in during business hours just to cancel or freeze the membership. We should be able to do it over the phone. This gym sucks.

Good equipment. Customer service is fine. Locker rooms could use cleaning. Overall it gets the job done. Best of all it doesn’t get overcrowded like the cheaper gyms.

Great place and staff. Water fountains need a little work but other than that theyve continued to update the gym. A lot of complaints about equipment and classes I see. Most of you don't even lift anyways.

Some may call this unfair. I am trying to find a gym and at the same time looking at reviews. I haven't even stepped into this place and I don't have plans to. I give them a 2 star because management hasent even responded to anyone addressing some of these complaints. This is a bad sign! Management team doesn't even take any action. We live in a time of feedback from others so that it can help us decide. Would you eat at a restaurant that has a 2 star review? Probably not.
