This place may be ok for someone who is just getting back into working out but a 30 minute workout won’t cut it for most people. I feel like this place is a fraud, frankly. The place is run down with no mirrors to check form. The training level of the instructor for the one class that I took was questionable. I wanted a place to workout at just for a month while I was in Stratford. After one class, I decided that it wasn’t a good fit and asked for a refund. I was assured by the front desk staff that I could have one - it was almost $140 for the one month membership. I followed up the next week by email and was told by Pam that it would take 14 days. It has now been 60 days and they won’t even respond. I’m back in my home province now and am going to have to send someone physically to the gym on my behalf to get my money back. If that doesn’t work, my next step will be a lawsuit. BEWARE 3RD DEGREE TRAINING. Spend your money elsewhere.
3rd Degree is something I've wanted to do for years, but I didn't think I could. After getting hurt at work I realized I let myself go and I needed something to get me in shape again. After trying a free class I knew this was exactly what I needed. The classes help keep me strong and pain free and able to do my job each day. I leave each class feeling stronger, happier and so proud of myself. Great instructors push your limits, push you out of your comfort zone, and help you believe in yourself. Each instructors at 3rd has helped me do just that.
I am really enjoying my classes at 3rd Degree. The Hybrid, Adaptive Athletics and Weight Circuit classes are challenging but so much fun. The variety of exercises in each of the classes keeps me very interested in attending because I never get bored. There’s just no time to get bored!! I love that they show us how to “adapt” each exercise depending on our own body’s needs. The instructors are extremely encouraging and love making us laugh. They are always reminding us to maintain proper form. I’m thrilled with 3rd Degree and it’s staff. Special shout out to Tionna and Pam for keeping us energized and motivated.
I have been going to 3rd Degree for a couple years now doing the Adaptive Athletics. Since the new year I have added weight training and small group circuit classes. At first I was concerned about doing the classes due to pain I had in my hips and legs. Some days I could hardly walk and sleeping was difficult. First thing I noticed after only a few classes was the pain was not as bad and now it is gone completely. I have lost some weight but more importantly I feel better. Pam, Thomas and Tionna are very personable and encouraging. Classes are welcoming and definitely geared to all fitness levels, while still giving you the push and the support. And I have made new friends! I could go on and on, but will sum it up by saying, I highly recommend 3rd Degree Training for anyone looking for a supportive motivating community.
I’m nearing the end of my first year of membership and am loving my 3rd Degree experience. A wide variety of class types offer support, fun and encouragement for those like me - new to exercise! Is it hard? Yes! Is it worth it! Definitely! I'm always happy that I got myself there! Not only do I enjoy the classes, I have seen results- I feel stronger, have more energy and am sleeping better. Thank you Pam and crew!
When I re joined 3rd Degree last year, I was on daily lupus medication and looking for a low impact program to get me moving. The Adaptive sessions were perfect! It isn’t just about the workouts, Pam is the engine that keeps you motivated, pushes you in a positive way to do more than you thought you could. Her classes are filled with wonderful people that feed off her positive energy. I cannot say enough about how much I love going to class! I am now medication free, just turned 50 and doing Hybrid and Bootcamp classes that a little over a year ago I would have never dreamed I would have considered let alone attended! Sometimes even at 6am If you want to get moving, gain strength, and have more energy, 3rd Degree is definitely the answer!
I have been going to 3rd Degree for just over 10 years. They have so many different class times that it is so easy to make it a part of your everyday routine. Pam and Steve and the trainers are the best because they genuinely care about you and love to see your progress. I love the positive and welcoming environment. 3rd Degree isn’t just a gym… it’s a family.
I've been most recently attending online classes offered with 3rd Degree Training in their Adaptive Athletics program and I love it. I've never not come away from class feeling stronger, with more energy. I keep coming back because Pam and her team know what they're doing, and offer the support and encouragement to meet your well being and fitness goals.
Welcoming atmosphere with friendly, approachable and motivating instructors. 3rd Degree is a great gym for all fitness levels; instructors make sure to show modifications for exercises in low impact or if you are looking for a higher intensity workout. You get an amazing, satisfying workout in 30-40 minutes which is perfect for busy lifestyles!
I started with Adaptive Athletics which I still LOVE . The group dynamics were always so fun and encouraging. As I am moving though my journey I feel stronger, more confident and my balance and agility is so much better. 3rd Degree is all the things I wanted, welcoming, fun, challenging and a place that I come away from happy and SO SWEATY! Thanks All, Trainers and Althetes.
