Update 4/22/23: THEY'RE BACK!!! Jason is back and the store is better than ever. So many awesome things and we are so excited to have our favorite store back. Location is in Gulf Coast. Jason is as awesome and always. Elizabeth is a new face to us and they were amazing as well. Great vibes and great selection. Retro paradise <3 I just moved to the area and was very excited to find out about this retro game store. We visited yesterday and I cannot wait to go back. I was reunited with an old favorite of mine and Jason was very kind. The store is huge and filled with a variety of games for all types of game preferences. This is definitely a gem.
I adore this place, I usually go here to trade in some stuff like a gameboy game, n64 game, etc. He has the coolest stuff I've ever seen, definitely a place I would visit! and if you like wrestling, I'd go there cause there are chairs and a Compilation of highlights, I personally am not a big fan of wrestling, but if you like gaming and sports, this place is guaranteed to be your favorite as well.
It was like taking a trip down memory lane. Seeing all the old classic retro games from when I was a kid and all the games my kids loved when they were young. We will definitely be back.
A true hidden gem for everything video game. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. I don't have a bad thing to say. I bought a good amount of games and records from his old location that unfortunately got wiped out from Ian. I look forward to visiting the new store soon. The selection and variety are second to none and he stands behind everything that crosses his counter.
One of the greatest selections in SWFL, endless items to fill every niche, I've bought everything from controller wrist straps to complete-in-box consoles without any issue. Trade-in values are good and while some people may complain about slightly higher prices, you are paying a little bit more for consistent high quality and a guarantee that you won't return with future issues. Would absolutely recommend!
This place is fantastic. When I walked in, I didn't know what to expect. I didn't think Fort Myers was big on retro video game culture, but when I walked in, I was absolutely taken aback by how nice the store is. I originally didn't plan on buying anything and was just looking, but their inventory is so vast that I ended up walking out with a game for myself. The owner was a nice and down-to-earth person. I would definitely come back to this establishment.
Quite possibly the greatest retro gaming store you will find, the selection is simply breathtaking. The store is so packed with retro goodness it feels like a museum, and the owner is an awesome guy as well, you will not be disappointed.
Easily the best retro gaming store I have ever been in. The real beauty of 8-Bit Hall of Fame is in the curation. The owner does an excellent job of picking and choosing the right items. My wife and I visit weekly, and we will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
This place is absolutely amazing. Great friendly staff and willing to buy and trade games or consoles from you. They sell Funko Pops too. Love it
RETRO OVERLOAD!!! Look at my pictures and video! I'm 43 years old as of this post and I can tell you....the flood of nostalgia that hit me was ridiculous! This posting would be too long if I attempted to describe everything they carry! So look at my pictures and watch my video for a complete walk through. Just know they have almost every console and video game available. The prices are are based on value and the limited availability of the game and console. So if you're a collector or a gamer this place is for you!
