9Round - Burlington, MA - Bedford St

Finally got around to a proper review, which was long overdue. After a long 4 year hiatus of regularly working out, 9Round has been awesome. Perfect workout for someone who is busy. Workouts are scripted but flexible you show up whenever they are open, burn a ton of calories in a short time and the workout is new every single day. The mix hits different body parts especially the more you go. A trainers show you what to do and they are truly awesome. I have never seen a group and owner so dedicated to your success, while also a fun crew. This is not a sprawling gym! They really help you to look forward to going to workout. I cannot imagine being as consistent without 9Round and am starting to see great results.

This place is unbelievable!!! I wanted to target my core and tone up, and I can't believe the results so far and it has only been a month!!! Kathryn and her staff are unbelievable trainers, they are with you the whole time. Each round changes every day, you are never doing the same thing which keeps it interesting and makes it go by super fast. All the while, targeting every part of your body to get you in the best shape possible and to lose that weight you have been looking to lose. Never boring! Very challenging, and a great workout!!!

Really great place for a motivating workout. If you are looking to get onsite training and make your workout a quick 30-40 min visit, this is the place to go. The owners Bill and Tim are real professionals and excellent trainers. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good workout routine.

The concept itself is SUPER convenient - show up, get ready, jump in the next round - which can be moved around depending on where other people are in their workout to get you going sooner - and 30-35 minutes later you're done. I've done other boxing work but with my schedule it's tough trying to hit class times when you have a somewhat hectic work schedule - where I'd usually have to skip a class at other spots which would ordinarily kill my routine I can still get in a quick but still effective workout.

I absolutely love the 9Rounds workout! It is so convenient and such a great full body workout. The staff are all wonderful, encouraging, knowledgeable, and helpful. Kathryn is attentive and always working to accommodate everyone and making sure everyone is happy with their experience!

So glad that a 9Round opened near me. Everything about this place is great---fits my schedule and workout needs perfectly, and the owner/trainer, Kathryn, is friendly and motivating! Schedule: As a mother of two young kids, I don't have much free time or flexibility with my schedule. 9Round allows me to get a class-like workout without planning around class times! I drop my kids off at school and then go to 9Round to squeeze in my 30 minute workout, before heading to the grocery store, and then back to preschool for pick up. Workout: 9 rounds, 3 min/round, 30sec in-between-round breaks/exercises. This format fits my workout style- I appreciate the constant change so that I don't get bored, and the 30 minutes really fly by! The workouts also change daily, so you are not doing the same exercises at each round every time, which means that I am working out different muscles every time. It is such an efficient and effective workout!

All of the trainers are amazing and helpful. You can’t go in there and not be challenged, but you’re never going to walk out feeling defeated - it's such a confidence and strength builder. I love it here because it fits our busy schedule: no class times and only 30 minutes! Highly recommend!

Responding to Dave's review... There is no better staff at any gym, anywhere! Especially "the male trainer" he referred to... HE is amazing and beyond helpful. I know for a fact that if he had known Dave was injured or had limitations, he would have offered suggestions at every round. He, and the whole staff, are very thoughtful, kind, caring, knowledgeable people. I hope Dave decides to go back & give it another try... This time letting the staff know he needs a little extra attention. Once he does this, he will see what an amazing workout he can have as well as just how wonderful this staff really is.

Love this place! Overall never knew how long 3 minutes was until I tried but Kathryn and her team have made my last 6 weeks very productive. It is a great location and great way to get a workout in 30 minutes, something very important as a working mom. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I wish there were more expanded hours, like Friday evening

Very convenient! Love how I can pop in at any time, beat on some bags for 30 minutes and get on with life. Every day is different and the 3 minute intense intervals make it possible to push myself hard for the entire workout. Love the trainers & the set-up. Brilliant.
