Had a pleasant stay. The location, free shuttle service to and from the airport, aswell as the lovely breakfast- makes this a convenient and comfortable stay.Rooms: 4/5
Rooms are exactly as advertised, just enough for what is needed for an ovetnight stay. Nothing fancy, but clean. Breakfast, wifi, towels, soap and transport included, surely a budget bargain. If you are a hotel lover then this basic room will not meet your requirements, however it was more than enough for my layover flight timekiller and would recommend this for anyone. 5min from the airport. Bacon, egg, sausage, toast, tomato, baked beans, jam, juice and coffee for breakfast was great! Safety: Very safe for a single lady checking in at 10pm
Very safe and secure with excellent customer service. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent and the bfast was also good too. Rooms are clean and well kept but need a warmer blanket or heating during winter.Rooms: 4/5
Wonderful place, very secure, shuttle bus comes each hour to pick you up from the airport. Staid there 2 times already. People in the hotel are very very nice and kind!
Great garden setting with pool, ponds and a viewing deck to see the aircraft taking off across the highway. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and include a kettle and coffee.
At first very impressed with the service of the staff at reception. Sleeping time...a disaster. 2 of the beds were broken. We didnt sleep well. Then the transport guy, R.... didnt pitch and we paid extra since it was out of normal hours. Luckily the owner came to the rescure....we will definitely NOT sleep herè again. Cherry on top was that we were suppose to get a take away for breakfast. We left empty handed....
An excellent over nighter, literally less than a 5 min drive to OR Tambo Int Airport. Breakfast is arranged according to your flight time and was plentiful. A well organised free shuttle service every hour to and from airport. The rooms are clean and adequate, also equipped with a safe. Management and staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice little restaurant and tuck shop. Highly recommend it.
The budget stay-over and free shuttle service to ORT Airport served us very well. Perfect for a quick stay-over opposite airport. They offer B&B and lunch/dinner on order. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pity the area is going down in stature. Roads around them full of potholes, but it is NOT their fault. Typical of SA infrastructure going down the drain everywhere.
Beds are old, cold water, the 2 white ladies lack customer service which from observation seem to be boarder line skin colour based. They shouted at myself and other dark skinned clients and our fair skinned counterparts were spoken to politely in low tone. I booked online whilst in Tanzania and sent an email directly to the hotel to confirm booking but they claimed not to have seen both the online booking and the email. Had previously booked with them and called to confirm in December of 2022 and was advised to send through my details by email as there's always a delay in getting the online booking.When you get to the facility they charge more than the price online, it seems they play ignorance of the online booking to charge more. My December booking online was R416 and they charged me R550 at the facility. The January 2023 online booking was R529 and they made me pay R650...
Booked & paid for Emerald guesthouse. Was put in room 258 of the Airport Inn. This location was extremely noisy throughout the night and we could not sleep at all. It’s next to the highway, next to the airport, next to a shebeen people were partying until three in the morning. Safe was not working. TV remote was gone. Room was clean. Wifi is working very good. Breakfast very basic. Shuttle to the airport very OK, both ways 15 min late. Prices are very cheap. Staff are very efficient. I suppose you get what you pay for!
