I really had a lovely time .The service was very good, rooms were so comfortable. The place was very homely and I was there for the weekend to celebrate my birthday . I was bought a very nice birthday cake and everyone sang a happy birthday song for me during breakfast time. . I was really treated very special and the place is very neat. Breakfast was also very good. Thank you so much .I really loved the place and will be back again. I honestly cannot find anything to fault about this place - from the moment we set foot into the Guest house, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our room which was really clean and looked exactly like it did in the pictures - if not better! I expected a little less actually.They had 2 heaters switched on, so on arrival the room was nice and warm. The complementary drinks and chocolates were an added bonus too! Breakfast was really good as promised with a view to their exquisite porch. All in all, we loved our stay there! Would definitely go back :
Very comfortable and spacious rooms that feel more like a nicely decorated home than a guesthouse. The neighborhood is pleasantly quiet but a short drive to various tourist attractions. The hosts were extremely hospitable and provided a delicious large breakfast as well as useful information about the area.
I loved staying here. The place was cosy and the room was beautiful and spacious. Great for some quiet time away. Breakfast was good but could be better. The staff was friendly and made my stay very comfortable.
Stayed at the Arum Place Guest House last year. I was so impressed that I made a point of returning. My second visit was equally satisfying. Owner operators are customer focused. They provide first rate service and genuine hospitality. Guest and public rooms are beautifully furnished. Breakfasts are delightful. Property is within walking distance of charming high street offering good restaurants, bars and quaint shops. Parking is available. This is a terrific spot for visitors who want to stay in a delightful corner of Jo"burg.
Above Expectations! I stayed at the Arum Place Guesthouse for 10 days and beyond being beautifully decorated and clean, the owners went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was enjoyable. They were very friendly, and they made sure we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed always. They did research for us so that they could recommend the best restaurants and shopping areas, they provided rides to and from the restaurants and grocery stores every evening with no added fees, and the breakfasts- oh my goodness- the breakfasts were beautifully presented and delicious. I highly recommend Arum Place Guesthouse!
The place is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, outside you surrounded by nature beautiful green plants all around. The staff is very friendly and sweet. Your home away home
