ATKV Holiday Resort Caravan Park

Stayed in one of the lakeside cabins for 5 nights. The resort is great and the warm pools are fantastic. We did the quad biking which was great with a really friendly guide. My daughter loved the horse riding. Lots of wildlife around the resort which is great to see. I am only giving 4 stars however and not 5 as our AC in the chalet was incredibly noisy through the night. The motor outside defo sounds like it could do with some TLC. Apart from that great stay.

This is one of the Best Holiday resorts inland , Beautiful nature surrounds with a variety of wildlife and bird calls Serene. Family orientated resort with the most wonderful choice of swimming pools 4 of them , where most are heated and one indoor Got camping facilities as well , restaurant and shop for the residents and many different venues. - Great escape away from the city. Safe, clean with many friendly staff

Awesome atmosphere, friendly staff and great service from the reception all the way to the security members posted around the facility till at the gate on entry and exit. The only issue was that the cleaning ladies who had to service the house had to be chased around since they would clean Frickies house next door to us and just walk past our house. So we constantly had to make sure we were in the house till they came just to ensure that our unit was serviced. They would always say that there are just too many units that they have to clean so they are tired Rooms: So spacious with comfortable beds. Clean and well furnished Nearby activities: Lots of fun activities Safety: We had a great chat with the one of the security staff that was patrolling with a dog about the duties and he was able to ease my friends anxiety over the safety of of the place and area. Lovely place, looks exactly as the pictures. My highlight was quad biking and the heated indoor pool because we were able to go there at night after a very busy day of activities to relax. Friendly staff!Rooms: 5/5

This is a beautiful place to go visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though there was a lot of walking. The pools were clean all the time, and the heated pools were very relaxing. Food & drinks: The restaurant food was good but price was just too much for what we got. The little shop didn't have any fresh snacks like muffins or pies, which would have been ideal.

Perfect place for campers. Clean toilets, shower, laundry and kitcehn sink facilities. Heated indoor and outdoor pools. Don't forget the cold pool. A small restaurant with the wooden deck area overlooking a waterfall. A lake with pedal boats and fishing. cycling, horse riding and quadbike activities. Affordable prices for accommodation and activities. Kids had lots of fun.

Was at tye camping site, awesomely clean and kept clean at all times. The wind coming through those cliffs are very unwelcome and freezingly cold. The big apes have become accustomed from previous campers feeding them that they actually steel food, coffee, milk and even clothing after youve chased them. But overall, amazing, awesome and most relaxing. Highly recomended

Camping was great although having the tent/caravan spot at the front and no place for vehicle was annoying, entertainment was fabulous, the breakfast buffet was below expectations especially for the cold bacon and mushrooms tasting as it came from a tin can and for the resort to only have one person serving and doing the cooking at a buffet without any help was very sad and frustrating, as for the Christmas buffet the vegetable could have been prepared better as it was still mostly raw, the beef was overcooked but the gammon was perfect and so was the pepper sause. The fact that one may only sit when going down the slide without using a tube sucked, it isn't even stated on the rule board. As for the personel, there is a very rude lady at the office, the security at the gate was very helpful and friendly. Not being able to use gazebo at the pool was annoying as there are only so many available tables. Being told to switch off the music at the caravan camping sitewhich was not even loud was definitely a mood breaker. The restroom are clean and hygienic. The paddle boats are worn down and looks in very bad shape. Charging R30/ per person for half an hour and there should be two people paddling is a bit of a rip off in my opinion. The mini golf was super fun to do, they even brought new clubs to replace the worn one's.

Apart from the booking misunderstandings I think this is definitely a place to go for a holiday. Check their website for activities because they can’t a lot. Bring your hiking supplies, picnic supplies, swimming supplies, braai supplies etc. they have sooo much to do. I loved the paddling and the indoor warm pool. and most activities are free.

ATKV Klein-Kariba was a great place to stay and dine at, we had a lovely experience from accommodation, activities to food, everything was just good, i would love to go again. Thanks to the staff who are friendly and helpful. We went quad biking, hiking, swimming, the spa,, it was just happiness throughout our weeknd stay.. Thanks Klein-Kariba
