Spice shop that actually grinds and mixes the spices on premise. Very friendly and helpful staff. Prices are shockingly inexpensive, most spices are less than $1 USD for a bag with enough to fill 2 jars the size you buy in a supermarket

Good quality products. Shop is neat and clean. Service is excellent. Staff always willing to help and they friendly too. Prices are reasonable. Great place to get some cake and koeksister mix, dried fruit and nuts and other wonderful spices in different sized packaging.

Like going on a mini holiday in your hometown. Dedicated parking spaces in front of the store. They stock things like almond flour, nutritional yeast and real vanilla at super prices. And the staff is friendly and helpful. Thanks Atlas, you made my day!

All the spices you ever need you will find here including those hard to find ones. They fresh and the prices really good. Nestled in the historic Bokaap area, it's been here for generations. The staff are always helpful and friendly with even the owners welcoming you at the door. There is always parking except on a Saturday it does tend get crowded.

I've shopped on and off here for years. Lovely people, some great offerings on the shelves. Some stuff I can't afford any longer, but that's the world right now. I come here to stock up on grains, pulses, legumes, incense, dates, spices and some herbs. Not everything has its ingredients written on the packaging, so I shop with discernment, but that's everywhere. Park further away and walk if you can. Or just walk from town, because it's getting very popular and touristy around here - so the area attracts opportunists wanting some coins, mostly harmless. But peace of mind in town may mean being Incognito....

Definitely a favorite ...Authentic spice shop rich in culture buzzing with locals and tourists alike but certainly of the freshest tastiest spices in town ...coming out of atlas certainly makes me feel like cooking up a storm by wanting to try out every spice on that same day...love the aromas as you enter

What a little gem in the heart of the Bo-Kaap. This shop has all the spices you'll ever need when it comes to making authentic Cape Malay or Indian curries. The prices are so incredibe, it's worth stocking up in one go to keep you going for a while. I'm a glutenfree Baker, and their White rice flour is also the cheapest Ive seen it anywhere per kg. The people are warm and friendly.
