Service sucks have been applying for a loan on Saturday they said it is approved and it will be in my account but still nothing dont need it any more email them too cancel but no response

I have been harassed by Wonga for years now gettings calls and messages threatening me fir a loan I have NEVER had. I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH WONGA BEFORE AND NEVER TAKEN OUT N LOAN WITH THEM BEFORE. BUT KEEP GETTING HARASSED ON MY PHONE NUMBER LOOKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE!!!! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL THEM THEY MUST REMOVE MY NUMBER. THEY KEEP ON HARASSING ME!

The company needs a call back feature. Very bad service .no response on emails and whenever I call they don't pick up phones. I called more than 3 times this morning with no repsonse and I applied in the morning.

They say 24/7 online applications. Untrue!! Multiple OTPs being sent. No completion!! Instead of just saying "we're closed", they say "temporary technical issues"...!!

I made a short term loan with wonga just too boost my credit score. But wonga aint helping me at all with that very poor customer service. I have been trying for days/weeks/months to get a hold of them but the customer care line is always just to busy i email them they respond with an auto mailMy baking details changed and im trying to update it but i cant do it online on my wonga account ... I was handed over i paid that areas amount n yet they sending me sms's saying that my account will be handed overreally im not impressed this is bad totally unacceptable

I took a loan from Wonga and the amount that I had to pay was R975 but Wonga deducted R975 twice from my account and I never got any refund for the mistake they did....in other words I was scammed by Wonga

I have used Wonga Loans about 4 times and with each experience I have had no problems. I apply and receive the money. I get reminded a day before the collection on the debit order day. After which all goes smooth and I can borrow again if I want to. They also advise on a lower amount to borrow if that will cause financial struggle in the future. The interest is manageable. But Wonga would even be better if once an application is sent to them early morning, they work faster so that I can receive the money on the same day. Thank you Wonga TEAM. You helped me many times over.

When Covid 19 hit I couldn't pay Wonga everything on time, so I made a payment arrangement with their collections department to pay it off. I have paid R1400.00 over what was due, so they collections phoned me and said that I will need to be refunded asap! I sent them all the necessary documents a month ago!!! This is just so unfair, because when you owe them money they make you crazy for it, but when they owe you money they ignore all correspondence! It's just so unprofessional and I cannot see how something like this should take a full month, I even sent them the statement showing the credit amount as well!

The debt review department ignores requests for paid up letters. A complaint will be lodged at the NCR. Shameful service.
