Terrible. Would not rent from here again. I used a non South African Bank account to pay the deposit. Dropped the car off and they said they would hold onto my deposits for abit. To see if any damages or fines occurred during my rental period. Which was all cool with me. Now 3 weeks later still battling to get my deposit back and every time I call I’m just put on hold and given a proper run around. Only outcome is that every staff has my email address and still nothing. Otherwise car was great.

After a very long morning, it was a welcoming fresh experience to get to Avis Stellenbosch. Neville I think his name is was so helpful, helped us understand the contract, with patience and respectful effort,  we really appreciate it. This man needs to be promoted, he is a gem of a human.  Thank you for putting up with us the old lady, niece, tiny dog and a toddler

Incredible, while office hours are until 5pm on Saturdays, nobody is picking up the phone at 2pm Even on the 24 h emergency line, they tell you to call again during office hours. So if you have an emergency, pray that you haven't rented with Avis - they will leave you standing in the rain.

Feel economic Renault kwid. But the brights of the car didn't work. Having the car in the winter, and power outages also, made it difficult.

Happy with the condition of the car but the rank was not full not sure if they were aware and I only notice it after leaving them.

What lovely staff, great service and good quality cars

Took my car back to Avis Stellenbosch picked up at Airport branch  Very convenient and stationed at Toyota in Stellenbosch. Staff were efficient and friendly. Was a quick in and out.  Just be aware - with Covid regulations, the entrance is at the back and not in front, as stated on Google maps, but am sure this will change back again as lockdown rules are eased.

Terrible service with rude staff. Basically called me illiterate because their system calculates a trip from Stellenbosh to Bloemfontein as 200km and I had to pay in a ridiculous amount. We got stuck in a terrible traffic jam and asked them to wait for 10mins for us to collect and they said no causing our trip to only start at 11 the next day instead of 4 in the morning with a baby. They couldn't be bothered with service. Keeping us on hold for 16mins while "assisting" with our complaint but we could hear them helping other clients with the same complaints in shop. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Friendly and very helpful staff.

This is a AMAZING place to visit. As you enter you are greeted by friendly staff. Very helpful. Place not to big. Very clean and fresh. The staff friendly and helpful. They really go out of their way to assist you. If you want to rent a car please visit their place.
