I can wholeheartedly recommend this rental service. Not only was I treated with outstanding professional service throughout, but I was also able to say that all the employees are extremely courteous and friendly. Coming from Germany and having to plan a trip in South Africa, I needed local help, which I received from all the staff from start to finish. Absolute top service, which you rarely find. I will certainly book again.
Avoid. I had a terrible experience renting from them in November: They claimed I caused nicks/damage to the side of the car, yet the before and after pictures were hard to distinguish any differentiation. The car also had nicks on the side when I received it and weren't properly marked on the rental agreement. In the end, they charged me for repairs. Further, they never provided evidence that the repairs were seen through. I filed a complaint with the Western Cape's Consumer Protection Agency that told me "[the business] they did not show any willingness to engage with our office in an attempt to resolve the matter" and their office didn't have the powers to push it further. I was advised to file a complaint with the National Consumer Commission and/or: "you are well within your rights to obtain legal advice from your attorney on the prospects of successfully instituting legal action against the business via the civil courts." Because I left the country, I didn't take the matter further as it was too logistically challenging. But lesson learned, stick with the major brand name rental agencies.
Can you call my elderly mother in law ,whom you have been avoiding????.Whom you are consistently debiting different large amounts of money from.without consentfor a car rental that's not hers!!! We have had enough and are going to the police..things must get rectified and stopped right now!!
We rented a bakkie for the weekend. Well maintained cars and the service and professionalism is unparalleled. Can highly recommend
We have been renting with them many times however when we suppose to get the refund it is always a hustle Today it is a full week no refund I will not use them again I am disappointed honestly
I rented a car from Saayman's for more than a month, they treated me well, and replaced the car that had a smaller issue. I will rent from them again, and will recommend them to my friends. See picture of car parked at Afrikaans Taal Monument.
Service was friendly and efficient. Price was too high compared to airport rates, especially for the car we got. For that prize, at the airport we would have get an newer car with more comfort. And compared to other small, private companies in this area, it was too expensive. The VW Polo rattled and squeaked and smelled strange inside like an "old, wet dog". Unfortunately, we can't recommend this company.
Saayman Car and Bakkie rentals can be recommended to everyone. The process from the booking and reservation was easy and convenient. The friendly staff assisted us with all and assured that the vehicle was arranged and booked. On collection of the vehicle the friendly staff completed the administration quick and the vehicle was prepared as on the agreed time. I can recommend Saayman Rental to anyone
I have had such a great experience with this company. I rented a small car from them over the weekend, the service was polite and efficient, the car was clean and ran well, and my deposit was returned to me within an unbelievably short time. Highly recommended.
