Ay Jay Guest House

I can't say that it was a terrible experience... I work in the industry so I do understand how difficult certain things can be... My dislikes: The showers look like outdoor showers so we didn't feel comfortable to shower without slops. The room looked nothing nothing nothing like the photos advertised to us. Insufficient parking so we were woken up at 5am to move for other guests and we were tired from a long trip. My likes: The gentlemen that assisted us were very friendly and willing to accommodate to the best of their ability including waiting for us to check in late. Price is definitely competitive. I like that we had our own open view decoder so we could choose what we wanted to watch. I like that there is a microwave and fridge in the room. Location is ideal as it's close to a mall and mcds, garage and steers. Not particularly My cup of tea but I am very fussy.

Only good thing I can say is the duvet and pillows were comfortable, and have a nice swimming pool. Beyond that this was a not an enjoyable experience. The sheets were dirty a pillow had small dry blood marks on it The man in charge had no idea we where coming and smelt of alcohol, he didn't help help us with any inquiry all the people that did help us all said the dont actually work there. The staff were playing loud music at 2 in the morning, that i had to ask then to turn it down. And got woken up by other clients complain that they didn't have space for them even though they paid for the stay in December already. This is the worst guest house experience I`ve ever had. I don't like writing bad reviews, this was a horrible experience.

Worst lodging experience in Bloemfontein. Stayed here one night on the way to the Cape... -Non smoking room had cigarette smoke wafting in the whole night -hosts/staff were partying hard outside our room the whole night. - room was not up to the advertised standards, sheets were cheap, door didn't lock, and bed was uncomfortable. - I complained to management, absolutely nothing was done about any of these issues. Neither us slept at all the whole night, making the drive the next day extremely difficult. I will not be staying here again and neither should you

Our experience on the first day was good but the second day it was terrible, the room was not cleaned, the bed was only made when we got there at night, we had to sit outside to wait for our room to be fixed, the towels we left on the floor were hanged in the bathroom again, we couldn't even sleep at night because of the noise.Rooms: 2/5

Julius was very welcoming host. All that I needed was available. The place is clean and the breakfast was very delicious. I'm definitely going back to Villa Rosa. I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for and affordable good place.

What a great place to stay and such value for money for everything you need and more! The owner is such a delightful and friendly guy and is always willing to go the extra mile. His customers well-being is most definitely his fist priority. Great place. Great people. Great food. Great location. Great price!
