Oakwood Lodge

Oakwood is clean and reception is friendly. However you cannot sleep if your room is located next to the laundry room. For 4 nights straight I was listening to the washing machines and dryers throughout the night. The room service staff is also extremely loud very early in the morning.Rooms: 3/5

In the middle of winter no hot water, because 3 rooms of more than 8 people must share a small geezer. Our tv is not working, rooms is cold, found soiled blankets in the room.had to change at reception with check in. Not helpfull to accommodate with breakfast even when 2hours in advanced notice.Not again.Rooms: 1/5

Second time we have stayed here. Always a good experience. Situated 2 streets from Mediclinic and close to all amenities. Definitely recommend.Rooms: 5/5

Arrived late at night and left very early en-route to Cape Town, but the beds very very comfy. We did, however, find a pizza crust next to our nightstand which is just unacceptable. How could you leave the crust?!Rooms: 4/5

We stayed at Oakwood Lodge while traveling to PE and then again on the way back. Overall everything is very good. Service is friendly and polite. The room we stayed in was very big and clean. Free Wi-Fi helped a lot to get work done whilst in the room. Breakfast was great in the morning and a selection of continental and hot breakfast. The only negative on the trip down was the people in the other unit drinking and partying until past midnight which wasn’t ideal. On the way back we had an issue with the room either being over-sprayed with air freshener or someone’s cologne bottle broke the night before as the smell was just way to strong. Overall though we did enjoy the stay and will be back again.

I have always enjoyed my stay been there 6 time and recommended the place to others. After my last stay I don't know if I will go back. Left my jacket in the closet and went back the same day to collect it. The guy from the front desk checked. The hanger was precisely where I told him it would be but it had magically disappeared from the hanger. They Also would or could not accommodate another family that I recommended.... So sad that it all happened. Over all neat and nice. Good food, but fish fingers for breakfast was not mentioned for 2 out of 4 people that didn't like fish or it's smell...

Oakwood we didn't get the service the over booked rooms. Manager was rud. Noteworthy details: Im not happy with oakwood

Central clean lodge. Parking on-site. Filter Coffee was just difficult to get hold of-we did not have breakfast there but just wanted a good cup of coffee before we had our breakfast meeting up the road! But will definitely stay there again.

I had communicated via Whatsapp and email throughout the day with these people and everything was fine. Once I mentioned to them that payment will be paid, suddenly calls, Whatsapp and emails were not being attended to. I will assume that this place is a scam. Thank youRooms: 2/5
