We booked in a group that paid more then double of the price that is advertised to be exact R1045 per night. On top of that their service was extremely poor from unwashed spots on their beddings to dirty towels. Some of the members experienced loadshedding and water outtage 99% of our stay. When complaint was made on water issues no alternative was offered. Although the TV was available it played only standard channels like SABC 1 /2. There is no DSTV , Showmax e.t.c. I was very dissappointed and was not comfortable at all. Rooms: Some of the rooms were dirty, had dirty towels, dirty sports on beding. Cold and experienced loadshedding 99% of the time. Some had no water and when we reported nothing was done to resolve the matter. Noteworthy details: The attitude of the staff members was very bad and the service they gave was unsatisfactory.

Some of the staff members or owners very rude and unprofessional. Bad service and not money's worth if you expect good service. Some of the rooms were not cleaned.Rooms: 2/5

It is neat and clean. Nothing spectacular. Breakfast was basic but tasty. Friendly service and easy booking process. Proximity to the university was deciding factor for us. A comfortable and practical stay for business or overnights, but I would not recommend for romantic visit or vacation visit.

Clean, friendly receptionist and security , but to be reminded to check out at 10 @10:10 not nice... Can understand if it's 30min - 60min! , and a tip... please tell your non local visitors to bring mosquito repellent... Other than that you have a beutifull place.

Nostalgic Gardens, large rooms with most amenities for a 3-star establishment. Very neat and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent and they catered for my halal dietary requirements. Thank you so much. It's just such a pity that it's close to main roads and the constant cars that drag race and rev loudly is very disturbing in the evenings. It carried on for 3 hours all around the block as university students live in the vicinity.

This not being my first stay here I'm more disappointed than I was before. In this cold -7°c weather my room is freezing cold. We all know hotels rig thermostats but at least put in bed warmers, and dont lie to me and say uve fixed it when we both know what's up. my request for a different was denied even in the 1st stay. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone

The service was excellent, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They escort you to your Suit and give you information about it and additional amenities. It is located near a mall and shopping center which is very convenient. It is also very secure. I enjoyed my stay in the Lavender Suit which has a beautiful room, bathroom and balcony with an exceptional view. The bathroom has a magnificent shower and a jacuzzi tub. The Suit is spacious, has air conditioning, a television with DSTV channels and a tea or coffee station. Although I do not drink alcohol, the room comes with complementary wine.

Location is good, easy to find. Friendly receptions. Security hangs in reception on couch, not very friendly. Rooms are good and clean. Biggest complaint has to go to the swimming pool, which was our reason for booking here, We booked here en route to cape town. We have 2 kids aged 6 and 2. We promised them to swim one we get there after 9 hours of travelling. Pool looks horrible, and I could not let them swim. The weather today was around 30degrees. I mentioned th pool at reception, where she suggested we could use it, not thinking anythi g was wrong. I decided to leave it at that.
