Friendly stuff, the rooms are clean, I also liked the location. The food was great nice. No complaints about the breakfast. The dinner though? In the two nights I was there, I waited over an hour for my dinner to get ready. And I heard a couple of people complaining about this as well. I think this is something they need to look into. But overall, I enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

Amazing service from the time you enter. Tsholdfetso is a star and an asset to the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Great overnight stay. We will definitely use the hotel again.Rooms: 5/5

The reception is excellent , the guys working in the front desk are lovely always. Food is wonderful, though the breakfast pack is not really up to par. It is rather too dry and unappetizing. Bath towels needs to be changed they are old, they try to mix the old & the new. No water is offered in the rooms.Rooms: 3/5

Difficult to sleep. Our room needs better soundproof, we are very close to the main gate & Stair, we can still hear cars coming in and out after 11pm. And still hear people walking on the stairs.Rooms: 3/5

We booked in on Friday evening but our booking was wrong due to online booking. However the Manager Eugene Grobler was assisting us. He was so humble, pleasant and very efficient. He turned a problem into an opportunity to go over and above customer service. He managed to sort out our rooms. Thank you Mr Grobler and your pleasant staff Rooms was comfortable and clean. Will not think twice to stop at City Lodge Bloemfontein again.

Comfortable. Conveniently located and central to where I needed to be daily. Breakfast included. Friendly and helpful staff. Neat and tidy rooms. Perfect for business professionals that need affordable lodging for quick business trips.Rooms: 5/5

The reason I always stay in this hotel is because of the fitness centre and in house restaurant. There's some kind of rugby team at the Hotel, and without notice the fitness centre is off limits to guests, however we were not informed that this Will happen. In turn I was told to just train in the garden, really. Because of this my food orders took longer than 30 minutes and when it arrives it's cold. Dishes at the pool area from the evening is still there in the mornings and the dustbin outside rarely gets cleaned. I bring my own training equipment but the rooms are to small to train in. Last time I ever stay in this hotel, you pay for facilities but are not allowed to use it. The staff however was friendly and efficient, and except for not cleaning outside they were sympathetic and apologetic.
