Bain's Game Lodge

Most horrible experience from the time I moved in, during my stay and even after I had left. No sun in the rooms. The place moulds easily and is extremely cold. Please if you value your peace donot under any circumstances stay here. Property management is a criminal. Till today I have no explanation as to why my deposit wasn’t properly refunded but instead PM blocked my calls and emails. Incredibly unprofessional and very shady!!!

They are really bad with customer service, their door handles weak and doors need paint to protect from rain when you report they want you to fix all that yourself. The shower has mold when you inform them just on the 1st day after occupation they refuse to clean it. Terrible terrible terrible people 1st water bill was so high and their shower wasnt working i was using basin so it didn't make sense. They have been promising to investigate and come back to me i have given up. really look at their contract well its a scam.

Lodge has 2 restaurants Very noisy until early morning over weekend. Not recommended to light sleepers Rooms: Rooms not up to standard of price you pay. Need renovation and didn't look great when you entered. Paint of at some places. Noteworthy details: 2 restaurants are very noisy on weekends until early morning with loud music.

Had our awards function there. The food was excellent but the bar was a bit bare. Not much to choose from but it was a Pop Up Bar so perhaps I expected too much.

They gave us expired Crum bread. Ting expired April 4th and I was there on May 2nd. But otherwise I was projust unlucky and I wouldn't lie about the entire place, it's great and quite a value for money.Rooms: 4/5

This place needs serious recemping, the carpets, the bathrooms the darkness in the rooms, patio furniture is too old, no fridge in their rooms. Their stuff reception, housekeeping was super amazing from check in to checking out. I even received a call from the lodge informing me of the personal items that I left behind. I was truly touched and appreciative.

Staying here for a week was great! I'd definitely make a reservation at Bains if I'm in Bloem again. Obviously, the stay resembles that of an outdoor retreat rather than a city hotel stay. But I loved it and that's what matters.Rooms: 4/5

The Executive cabin is a complete ripoff! We stayed one out of three nights. We could not get out of there quick enough. The company should be ashamed to put people in there. It’s cramped, drainage in bathroom blocked, fixings for towel rack and toilet paper roll in dry wall just falls out.The road to the cabin feels like you need a four by four vehicle, muddy holes, bumps.

Clean and specious. Wee furnished rooms to accommodate a big family at less price.Rooms: 5/5

I live here and to be honest my stay has been amazing. I feel safe and the noise level is to a minimal or none. It's the best place to 'rent to buy' a flate.Rooms: 4/5
