They took care of our cat so well. They truly want to help, even in the middle of the night. Our pet insurance, DotSure, even paid out our entire claim after a septic infection was identified after hours at Bakenkop. Thanks again. We will definitely use their services again.
Our little schnauzer had a seizure in the middle of the night, thank goodness your clinic was open to help us. The staff is very well trained and informed. Dr Janan de Welzim really did go the extra mile for me, he phoned twice, once in the morning and after 4 to let me know how he is doing, they even sent me a sms to let me know my dog had a good night and did not convulse again. This was really helpful as one always worry how it is going. They also informed me of the costs before they proceeded with any additional tests. Thank you for helping my little one and for keeping us calm during a traumatic event. Will definitely recommend anyone to your clinic.

After having one of the worst days of our lives yesterday, when we found our kitty dead near our home. We had the best experience at Bakenkop. Both myself and my partner went into the clinic in complete states. The ladies at the front desk were so considerate and kind to our situation. They handled Luna with the utmost care and even gave us pawprints to keep her close. Even though we were completely breaking down these ladies helped us cope and took our baby to get cremated. You ladies deserve the admiration and thanks for both myself and my boyfriend. Thank you for helping us and for the kind words.
Thank you to Dr. Megan Dixon, and all staff involved in Jenna's recent hospital stay. Her first hospital visit in March this year, was very stressful, but the staff took such great care of her. During her recent stay, the service, care and support was again outstanding. Thank you for all the efforts to make my furr baby's stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. They even made her a box bed to hide in to help calm her nervous, it definitely made a world of difference. She recovered well, and we will always be grateful for your amazing care, we appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. Also a special shout out to Michelle in reception, for being so welcoming and friendly during every visit. Jenna sends her purrrrfect love to you all.
The staff have my utmost gratitude for how they cared for my dog. Dr Esterhuysen and Sr Meagan were so professional and caring. I left the vet knowing exactly what to do and what to expect going forward. It really helps having that type of genuine help during such a difficult time.
They helped him when my animal needed it, but you have to pay first before they continue anything on the animal. They examined my cat, told us the problem and said here is the bill, pay. So we did what was necessary at the time, they did what was the emergency and the next morning we took him to his own VET that helped him first. No questions asked.
Went there on Easter Monday with my very sick Jack Russel. Dr Amy did a magnificent job. Thanks again to all. Everyone is so friendly. My doggy is up and running again, her old self. Thanks Bakenkop Animal Clinic
Dr. Kristina Lutz is probably the most caring surgeon and vet I've ever met. She went above and beyond to accommodate my rescue dog Borris, during his visit noting that he is not an easy dog. He is about 9 or 10 years old, can't be on a leash or harness we don't know the history but he's made it quite clear. Despite all the challenges getting him to Bakenkop in the first instance, from the get go Dr Kristina was helpful, caring, compassionate and accommodated this poor old guy so he could get the surgery he needed. Weeks after the surgery he's still doing great back to his old "silly old man" ways. Thanks Bakenkop and my greatest appreciation to Dr Kristina.
