Baobab - Wonderboom Junction

We had a lovely lunch, enjoying delicious food. Our steaks were perfectly cooked, the dessert, a Pannacota new recipe was also good. Our waiter, Perfect, was friendly, professional and efficient to bring our food and ensure all going well. Only downside was the music was sometimes a bit too loud. This is not our first time and we'll be back for sure!

Our first time and I have to commend the staff. Super friendly just great service all around a special thanks to Octavia our waitress she understands what a great dining experience is all about. My family and I had a delicious lunch. We each ordered delicious meals and colourful drinks. I ordered the wings and ribs .., The service was excellent, a warm, chilled and elegant café and grill. 5 Stars from me. Looking forward to visiting again

We had lunch to celebrate my sisters graduation. They were kind enough to place a white cloth on our table with beautiful cutlery even though we did not reserve a table. With a big seating, I suggest that they have 2 waiters, one for food and the other for drinks. We had a long and frustrating wait to order drinks and get our drinks, and we had to wait a while before we could food. I believe our waiter was overwhelmed yet he could not be assisted by his other colleagues. We did not get a good experience. I ordered mogodu and dumpling, and yes I am the one who is wrong, because who orders mogodu at a fancy restaurant , yea it wasn’t the good even though we were advised that it will change our lives. So they are not truthful, don’t trust their opinion on food Family had a meat mix and burgers, they enjoyed it. All in all, the experience was okay. The atmosphere was okay and good vibes. Please improve on the waiter experience.

We had a great experience, the pizza was great , the pasta was too good and the wrap was good aswell. Our waiter was great he asked us what was the occasion and he suprised my friend with a personalized plate written happy birthday without us requesting it , that was so sweet of him . We were allowed to slide at the kiddies play slides lol that was too good

We ordered food which took more than an hour to come. The waitress was nice though. And I didn’t finish the food so I took a takeaway driving 25 minutes back to my place, I get home the food is rotten ‍

Probably the toughest steak Ive ever had... My wife and I both ordered the biltong rump speciality steak and at R229 each i do expect a lot better, medium rare also turned out to be blue and cold... Made the waiter aware of our situation and how disappointing the food was and all he had to say was "im sorry..." Not your finest moment... Had lunches and dinners there many previous times that was much better than this time.

The food is so underwhelming. The cocktail was nice though. The waitress told me that they do not get paid and pretty much manipulated me into giving a 10% tip which she did not deserve, she was lucky that I was her giving her anything to begin with, but she had the nerve to ask for a higher tip. I don’t know how true it is that they don’t get a basic salary but I’m definitely never going back there again.

Loved the ambiance and the food. Restaurant is overlooking Wonderboom nature reserve. Nice slide and jungle gym for kids, even teens. Service was 5 star. Octavia was our waiter and she was exceptional. Definitively a gem in Wonderboom. Kid-friendliness: Lovey and unique slide and jungle gym overlooking the nature reserve..
