The service at this place is sensational. From the time you drive in, till you leave, its made clear of how valuable you are as a customer. Kudos to Precious Mathabatha, she was amazing, ask for her.

I would give negative stars if I could. I saw an old parts special online for R2500 and I called them to check it as I didn't see the date on the page. Precious told me it's not running but she will check with the people working there and get back to me. She called and confirmed that they will give me the special on the price I saw and checked my car in. When I got there I met with Sharaaz who told me to my face that I will not be getting original or new parts with that money and I asked for Precious who confirmed with me. I showed them the page, they discussed and said I can leave the car only to call me a couple of hours later to ask me to send the proof of what I showed them in the morning only to find out they have taken the page down. And then they called me to tell me that they can only attend to my car if I pay R3500. I am so disappointed with how this matter was handled from the start and I can never trust them with my car ever again. They running a spaza shop there.

I made an enquiry about expired tyres on a Polo Tsi that I purchased. Tyres that was expired in 2012 was on a 2018 Polo Tsi that I purchased in 2019. Tyres looked brand new and there was no issue until I had a puncture two weeks ago. I was told by the attendant that my tyres have expired 10 years ago and I must change them from a safer point of view even it still looks new. I contacted Mastercars Woodmead and the manager, Mr Brian has been very professional with me and is investigating the matter as a serious concern. There is an expiry date on the tyres and I am not sure if it for safety or you can use it until the threads are worn out. Mr Brian is doing a thorough investigation with track and trace as to how an expired was not detected and put on a car that was just a year old from Vw manufacturing in Germany. Thanks Brian and awaiting your feedback on this situation that could be a critical check from now on to prevent this safety situation in future with corrective measures urged to be put in place.

My wipers were not working and, without an appointment, and even not a client of Barons Woodmead, they assisted me immediately - thank you so much Curubi sure the spelling is not right and ‘Oupa’ - 10/10 for customer service!! Cornèl Geldenhuys

I have been in process with the New Car sales team because I intend to buy a New Car in 2019 and I have had enquries about many concerns that I have had regarding the purchase, specs ect... and I have to say that each and everytime I have called sometimes more than once or when I have come in I have always been assisted in the most FRIENDLY, KIND, HOSPITABLE AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER EVERYTIME I have come in on frequent occasions or when I have phoned requesting to speak to my consultant. I have always been helped. NOT FORGETTING THAT I HAD AN EXPERIENCE THAT SHOWED ME HOW CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS PUT FIRST AT BARONS WOODMEAD. I would like to conclude and stress out that Barons Woodmead is one of the few VW dealerships that I know who strives to look after their customers. They really do not mind assisting customers on with whatever query they may have. Even if a customer wants to see something a car, the consultant will get the keys and show you giving one peace of mind what the car has standard before buying a the car. Having peace of mind is the most important because then customers know what they will be getting STD and what is OPT. I have really been accomodated for a long time with very helpful and interactive, professional service with an 'outstretched' arm. I am very happy with the way I have been treated as a customer thus far. EXCELLENT SERVICE AT BARONS WOODMEAD VW. I finally took delivery on Saturday 26/01/2019 and I would like to take the opportunity that my sales representative Thomas Ramakonya made it extra special for me. The car was covered with a black cloth with a blue bow and he made a speech in congratulating me on my purchase that I had finally achieved since 2016/2017. A video was made of this presentation and it was put on Facebook. A video was also made of me as I was leaving the dealership. I was also given a Barons Woodmead togbag and a VW cap. I rate my sales representative Thomas Ramakonya 5/5 ***** I must say that this car has unbelievable turbo performance for the 1.0 engine size that it has. One would not think that a car like this can perform the way it does. I am very impressed what I ordered and bought. These are really awesome cars especially the Comfortline 1.0. TSI that I purchased.
