Have been using them for years. Always friendly and helpful. Owner dirk is amazing with fillers and botox and will advise you if you feel uncertain or want a certain result . Never think twice about going here
I have covid and a bad chest infection. I am in a lot of pain and also need antibiotics urgently. Called at midday and was promised delivery as soon as script was received from the doctor. Phoned 15h30 and script had been received and was promised delivery was still coming. It is now night. Nobody contacted me. As chemists they should realize the severity and urgency of this script. Unacceptable It is now the next day and I have still heard nothing. Tried calling them and the phone was ringing for 8 minutes and not answered. I will never use this Pharmacy again. I now have no script and no way to contact them. DISGUSTING UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE
If you need urgent help rather use essential health in Strand. I have covid and needed my script delivered. A very rude man answered the phone just after 17:00 on Thursday and said I need to send my stuff through to add me on the system. Which I did. Haven’t heard a thing back. Have to run after these people. If you don’t like your job then leave. What a shame. Supposed to help sick people. I’m not surprised by the poor rating this place has.

Excellent service and they deliver! Needed some medication at work and in an hour they were there with a card machine! Very impressed with their service!
Disgusting, repugnantly poor service. Mailed them a script, 23 December , was called back to say it is ready but there is no driver to deliver, so it will be delivered first thing the next morning, which is today 24 December 2021, I still do not have my medication. Called them and the medication package isn't even made up, then I am informed that they do not have one of the medications so I provide an alternative. half an hour later I get a call and now there is a levy to be paid. more than an hour later I am still awaiting my medication. I just received it and a big thank you to the driver/delivery lady, but the pharmacy staff make me even more sick to think that they are playing with peoples lives, SIES!
Despite the owner's response to another reviewer that there is "a big white sign on the door stating our new hours" it is NOT so. There are three signs a bronze plate, a sticker at the bottom of the right-side door and a hanging "closed" sign all three stating that they close at 20h00 except Sundays & public holidays. There are certainly NO visible sign indicating any other closing time I took pictures and a video of all the signs and the entire front. I wanted to the enter the pharmacy at 17h58, but the door was closed in front of me by a woman with short, dark brown hair. Upon asking her if I can please get something quickly she just abruptly said, "no sir, we are closed" and closed the door. There were other shoppers inside still. What actually makes it worse is that she also showed away an elderly lady, of close to 75 guessing amongst about 5 other people wanting to enter after me. I understand that the staff works hard and I understand if they close at 18h00, but then make it clear and correct your signage. I really needed something for pain and the attitude made me decide that although I live across the road I will drive to another pharmacy and not buy there out of principle. Advice: If you are not going to help someone that arrives there at 17h58, then IF you correct your signage, say that you close at 17h58. The service you deliver is important/essential to people that are sick, remember that please.

Baychem has been my pharmacy, and Dirk and his team my pharmacists for 20 years. They are the best! I have been trying to call them since yesterday but there seems to be a problem getting through to them. Anyway, if you want the best pharmacy in The Basin; go to them
