They location is convenient, but they will close their door at a few minutes before 5pm most week days. They will have most of the items you are looking for, but the staff are not great at knowing where some of the non standard items are. Their prices are also not the most competitive. On the plus side they do have a dedicated parking area that you can use if you are only shopping with them.
Mika is my go to hardware store they have lots of products to offer and if they don’t have it they will order it for you. There are 2 stores to choose from.
All members at Mica they all have good people skills no aditude. Always willing to help. Even after you have payed for your item's the staff member comes out and helps to load up the item's in to you're vehicle. In general the whole Mica store from Coffee shop to downstairs from the tills. Always willing to help and Always helpful.
This is a very convenient and well stocked hardware store but some of the staff on the sales team are lazy and ignorant. Called today to get a quote for some building materials, firstly I had to tell them that they did stock what I required after being told that they didn't and then the guy was to lazy to write down my requirements and wanted me to send him an email which was impossible as I am travelling. Not good enough... Went to Rockfields

The staff can be helpful when you get one. There is quite a lot for the size of the store. If you buying a few things or are dirty/trade, I suggest go in the back area especially if you will require loading. Update: lately it's been easier to get in-store help quicker, I think they got extra staff
Great store, excellent prices. Been to the store 5 times in one week during home renovations, each time a staff member was there to help us, especially Craig in Plumbing, he was really helpful, spending a good amount of time with us, figuring out what could help us. Really made us feel welcomed. Everyone is friendly and the staff are clued up.
Good size store, vast selection of products, helpful staff, contractors parking and entrance. Also a good garden centre
Very professional staff, eager to help and good advise. Paint department is the best. Good products for affordable prices.
