Beau Vista Country Lodge

Old but clean and neat. My compulsory stay on my way to the north. Will never stay somewhere else. Price is a fraction of bigger places and that suits me fine. Food is something to die for! Staff is super friendly. If you can look past the oldness of the place, it is a wonderful place to stayRooms: 4/5

Last week on our way to Cape town we stop after 7 at Beau vista country lodge. In Trompsburg just off the N1 the lodge offers accommodation, a restaurant and a bar Great service, Friendly and very help full Manager and staff, I enjoy a pizza and my husband a steak with chips, our son eat his hamburger and enjoy it with milkshake, we drank wine and only relaxed. Big rooms, only wish they had showers and not only baths. Perfect place to stay

We came in late that night. The reception was friendly and helpful. Even with two canines...hehe We had a great evening and good breakfast. Service was excellent.

Great stop next to N1 and away from the busy Colesberg. Friendly service. Due for renovations, but that would probably need a few more people to stop over. Perfect if you only stop to sleep before setting off again in the morning.

Nice, quiet and an absolute oasis!! The bacon and cheese burger was fantastic and the chips with it, super fresh! We went through 3 towns where everyone was fully booked and then we ended up here, we basically had the whole place to ourselves but they only gave us one key ;- hehe! I love the way one steps back in time here. The old building is still beautiful and really feels like I walked into a 60s or 70s hotel.

Honestly the place needs a serious major facelift. The bedding set was okay as well as the breakfast otherwise I'm wasn't really happy with the state of the rooms. So I really hope they get it revamped soon enough coz it has the potential to be the best

Just want to say thank you to the manager and the staff for being such good people my son in law my daughter and grandson had big problems and they were willing to assist them in a big way from us as a family we would like to thank them and would recommend people to support them as they are truly a very friendly place regards dean

The lodge offers accommodation, a restaurant and a bar. In Trompsburg just off the N1. Laid back atmosphere with interesting wall "art" that made for an entertaining evening relaxing at the bar. Food was good and portion size was large.

Very nice place just to chill and fun with friends and family. It was my first time there, really enjoyed it.
