Great. Bellagio has been around for quite sometime, and there’s clear a reason why. Good food; we had excellent service, and it’s relatively well priced. The avocado salsa with the starter portion of calamari is simply sensational. Would certainly recommend you give it a try.
One of the few remaining restaurants in town that is excellent. Fresh ingredients prepared masterfully. We had the three cheese soufflé, still excellent. Niçoise salad with tuna was wonderful. Fillet steak with cognac mushroom sauce. The only issue was that it had to be returned as the comis chief did not know how to cook a medium steak. Almost raw. Deserts were lemon tart, Mille Feuille, chocolate cake & cheesecake all of the highest quality almost went to heaven. Keep up the great work, looking forward to my return. The food was good. The service for is what really impressed me. Tried the chocolate pudding for dessert and it's worth every calorie.
Had a beautiful Sunday lunch here yesterday. Everything delicious, from the starter bread on arrival to desert. The vibe was so calm. I strongly recommend the Thai Salmon. Though it was cold when I got my meal, I asked our waiter to warm it up and it came back just delicious
They say ' the best moments are around a table' I can definitely attest to this. Besides the amazing food and great service, Bellagio has become one of my local favourite places for lunch. We are never dissappointed.
Been one of our favourites for years. Yesterday calamari with chilli& ginger was awful not fresh & for the first smothered in herbs which were burnt. Service good apart from never asking about the meal. While I am here the wine list used to be better
Quick and friendly service. I had Teriyaki tuna, it was slightly overcooked for my taste, I asked medium rare, next time I'll ask rare, but it was very tasty and the side of mashed potatoes was perfect. My companion had delicious ravioli stuffed with artichokes. The seating outside was pleasant and much quieter than the restaurant inside. We'll be back. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options in the menu. Parking: Safe guarded outdoors parking, plenty of space.
Very disappointed. We were a large party, the steaks were tough and tasteless, the veal was oversalted, the service very poor Chips came 5 min after the steak, the salad another 5 min later and one person got the pasta dish when the rest of the table was finished with their meal.
A little hidden gem in the heart of Rosebank that specializes in seafood. Book a table though as it gets busy during lunch time. The food and service was definitely on point.Food: 5/5
Bellagio is a lovely restaurant in Illovo. I've eaten there several times and am never disappointed by the range and quality of the menu. Two excellent meals in the past week been the cheese soufflé and today's tuna ceviche, the latter being really great and different. I am going back. Wheelchair accessibility: Seems accessible. Not my focus right now.
