A real gem of a place. Stayed in one of the cottages a year ago, just for one night unfortunately. Arrived at sunset and had to continue our travel the next morning, but managed to greatly impress us. Had we known what we'd find, we would have definitely booked a longer stay. Super friendly reception by the owner. Will be back for a longer stay!
Not been there but as a retired game warden and reviewing the photos this is not ethical in terms of wild life conservation. Reed buck are not endemic to the Karoo nor are Sable, Nyala and Cape buffalo. Sure, buffalo roamed free in the cape province but more east to the grasslands and dense coastal acacia bush veld and that was many decades back. Sad to see undernourished reedbuck which do not have watershed wetlands to roam in The real perpetrators of this poor example of southern African conservation ethics is the department of wildlife conservation based in the province of the northern cape who issue permits to retain these animals in a fenced area of insufficient natural browse of grasslands and viewed on YouTube Shame on you!!!
Very nice, rustic but you need nothing more. Have an amazing view. Very quiet. No cell signal but that is what you want. Do have Wi-Fi. We really enjoyed our visit extremely helpful staff/managers. Will visist again.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
Lovely bush campsite & lived the solitude. Really super owners. Downside is shower heads missing in both ablutions & towel rails are too close to the wall. Some extra place to put clothes/toiletry bag woukd be nice
I use Bhejane Game Reserve for my tours, guests just love this place in the Grootrivier Valley. Philip & Adriana owners are the best. We just love this place.Rooms: 5/5
We had wonderful mid week stay at Bhejane Game Reserve. The owners are very friendly and checked us in personally. The cabin we stayed in was rustic and perfectly furnished. With a big bath overlooking the reserve in your own private little piece of tranquility. Taking long walks in the veld with beautiful surroundings or you can sit on your deck and watch the monkeys play in the trees. We can recommend this gem of a place where you can recharge yourself away from your busy lifestyle.
I loved it at Bhejane. Everyone was very nice and the view was beautiful. I love it here at Bhejane. I will visit at any time. There were bats in one room, but they went out eventually. I loved this trip
Absolutely gorgeous! So beautiful and peaceful, the perfect get away. Thank you to Adriana, Philip and Hendrik for your kind and warm welcome and a fabulous weekend!
If heavan looked like something, it would look like this. Bhejane to me is one of the most beautiful places in South Africa, a gem hidden between the beautiful mountains. If you have the need for adventure, are an avid hunter or ff road cycler, whatever it is you that draws you to nature, I would deffinitly recommend you visit Bhejane.
Have stayed here twice, and highly recommend it. Fantastic hospitality and amazing scenery!
