Bikram Yoga Illovo

Patrycja hosted one of the most wonderful classes in Wanderers this past weekend. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, bustling with down to earth souls. Patrycja, lead the class in such a way that anyone from advanced down to absolute beginning such as myself felt comfortable. She assisted gently whenever I struggled, ensuring that I carried out the flow at a pace I could achieve. Not only did she guide us in a flow that released physical tensions but also mental and emotional tension with guided 'meditation' quite like I've never experienced before. I've had immense back pain near on a year, and after leaving her class I felt like everything negative was no longer with me. And for the first time in months I had no pain and felt like a soft pliable noodle. I attribute this not only to the good stretch I severely needed, but also the release of some emotional energy that wasn't inline with my inner being. Beautiful Yoga studio that was one of the first yoga studios in Johannesburg owned by the wonderful and very supportive Sally. The studio offers a great variety of yoga classes from Bikram to restorative classes. The teachers have been carefully selected and are all very competent.

Took a wonderful classic Bikram class here. Not for beginners! Excellent instruction and personal attention in a lovely facility.
