Had a lovely dinner with my Bestie. Very accommodating. They reserved a table for us at such short notice. Our server Zonke was so pleasant and helpful. An absolute star! Loved her friendly demeanor. The food was lovely. It was my first time trying sushi. The was nice. Very well presented. I had the speciality dish the peri peri steak with noodles. Absolutely Devine. It was so yummy and well priced. I'll definitely be back with my family next time!

Sushi is mediocre, half price on Tuesdays. Staff are friendly

I have been a customer at this Restaurant for around 5 years. In fact, I insist on ordering all our sushi from this restaurant. Their quality and service makes other places I’ve visited look like they simply don’t do it right and I really have been around the block when it comes to sushi. It’s safe to say that a visit to Bite Your Tongue is warranted at least once a month to get my Sushi on. Oh and of course that Chow Mein with a Spring Roll. Treat Yourself!

Refilled soy sauce bottles so taste was watered down , sushi was very bland no flavour and the fish was not fresh. We had a similar experience the first time but thought we would try it again but same story. I would be happy to pay the R500 for half the amount of sushi we ate just needs to be fresh with some pride when making it. Sorry cant recommend this place.

Great service and good prices, however the salmon in my sushi wasn't the freshest and the prawn was either over cooked or not so fresh either. The quality of the sushi rice was also questionable, it being a little stogie. Was happy with my chicken noodle soup.

Used to be my favourite sushi bar in Durban but they recent got new staff that makes the sushi and the quality has dropped substantially. So much so that I won't be eating here anymore and I actually feel embarrassed that I have recommended this place so much in the past. Not to mention the service is worse than the sushi prep too.

I got sushi here a couple of months ago and it was nice, decided to get some yesterday on the special, was not good at all. The salmon is not fresh at all, sashimi looked like it has been chewed on. Don't think I'll easily return again.

Amazing sushi! Half-price night Thursdays gives me life

Great sushi! My favorite place in Durban to get Sushi. Their prices are normal, but on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday they have half price sushi, which is unreal! Sushi portions are good. Salmon roses are 4 pieces for R56, which is normal. I would recommend the Tokyo Tower, which is amazing! I highly recommend giving them a go! They do takeaway and also sit down meals.
