Wow! What a surprise. Apart from the warm atmosphere when we walked in there, the music was the best I've heard in a long time. I ordered the jumbo fish. This was actually the best I've eaten in a long time. Wife had the carpetbagger got to get glasses next time meat - soft, juicy. Definitely going back on a Friday night again.Food: 5/5

The prawn curry at Blue Marlin is absolutely superb. They have very friendly and thoughtful waiters as well. Parking: Because it shares the parking lot with a sports club, it does get busy sometimes

Kind of like an all in one - A down to Mykonos OTC retail Seafood shop that stocks really classy stuff for the home chef, with a walk in, off the traffic takeaway that does pretty much anything you want - Hake & Chips, Calamari rings, tubes, grilled or fried, prawns from baby size to big boss; langoustines, lobsters, mussels, crabs, oysters - the works! The only thing I never saw - my favourite - Scallops! but maybe they're seasonal. But then, turn the corner and park at the back/on their premises, and enter and experience all of the above, served with your regular mix of drinks in a relaxed, not too posh but nice setting. Ánd, at not too posh prices.

The previous place had a better atmosphere. Food quality and dishes are not consistent. Had London fish and chips today and many times before. On the previous visit it was 100%. Received fresh hake. Today, the fish is not fresh, or it is not hake. Dry and not tasty . Fish, not the long shape as hake come in. Wide and round shape. Also look at your sea food potjie. Had it a couple of weeks ago. It is not a sea food potjie but rather a sea food soup. Only the prawns on top were whole. The rest was like a sea food minced. Almost seems like the cook is new.

The best and freshest fish and other dishes you can get in town. Never disappointed and the service is always top notch.

Had lunch today at Blue Marlin. My wife and I both ordered the combo large hake and calamari. My wife went with the savoury rice as a side. As you can see from the pics, the savoury rice turned out to be just nornmal rice and my large hake +220g as per menu must have gone on a strict diet! Both the manager on duty and the waitress agreed that the fish fillet was small, but the chef was adamant that all was ok... So not a nice experience, especially as the food was just mediocre at best. So in conclusion, I would NOT recommend the Blue Marlin to anyone and will not support them in future. Collin

What a disappointment visited you many times before you moved was absolutely excellent, now this time around really no!! No atmosphere, food was definitely on standard at all. Garlic loaf was so yummy, then the seafood platter arrives terrible, not even close to all the previous times we had it. Think it was stuck in the kitchen and reheated OR SOMETHING No ways guys awful.

What an Awsome place. Great Food at reasonable prices. The decor, live band an overall vibes makes this a Must.

Had lots of fun with friends, but service is poor. The food is very good.Food: 5/5
