Bosvelder Restaurant & Pub

Very relaxed, good service, lovely meal. They went out of their way to make the lunch pleasurable for my mum who is not a big eater but wanted the chicken curry. So they dished up half the portion, and bagged the other half for us to take home. I had the bobotie which was delicious. Thank you.

Heard about this place from friends and finally visited it. Service great and the food was wonderful. The snails is the best I've ever had. My husband got lamb trotters and he really enjoyed it. The nachos is huge and delicious

A lovely pub/restaurant to come with the family for a lunch, or with friends to watch the rugby, or even as a couple for a nice day out. They have a very big and varied menu and the food is absolutely delicious, and they aren't shy with their portion sizes! They also have a big drinks menu with everything you can think of. We ordered a round of shooters for dessert - there were so many to choose from. Can definitely recommend Bosvelder.

This restaurant was a really good first Pretoria experience given i know absolutely no Afrikaans & just moved from kzn.. they were so accommodating as to give me a menu in English. Such vibey people! The food was also pretty great! Have to try it out.. especially the biggest cocktail on the menu Kid-friendliness: Awesome play area & face painting. Parking: There is loads of parking for everyone. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access to the outside area.

Fantastic service, helpful and competent waiters, well prepared and tasteful food. Great atmosphere, excellent venue and good value for money. The two male waiters that serviced the tables at the upper deck, late afternoon 07 January was superb and extremely competent. Their energy, attention to detail and service level was of the highest standard. Big Up's on fantastic staff. Thank you guys, I'll return without a doubt.

Still the good food Bosvelder has been known for at competitive prices. Go try their real South African meals like bobotie, skilpadjies etc, you will not be dissapointed. Had the bean soup today and it was delicious!!Food: 5/5

I am sad to post this review as my friends and I have always loved frequenting this try South Africa restaurant. The food and restaurant staff are great, don't get me wrong. The problem is with the guys they employ to look after our cars outside. I would urge the management of this establishment to remember that these guys are first people that we have to deal with on arrival. I am shocked at the caliber of people that are supposed to be seen as trustworthy and assurance. The young guys working there are arrogant, rude and in your face. They don't take no for an answer. Being someone who always has a little something for them, then being nagged and berated the one time I don't is to me completely unacceptable. To top that off,I am sorry to say but the smell that comes of him and his buddy was absolutely putrid, like he hadn't bathed in days. He actually seemed like he was on something as well. If I can avoid the whole bad experience by not going there again, then so be it. Sorry to say but we will be finding a new watering hole. Shocked and disappointed.
