Bloemfontein International Airport was officially renamed Bram Fischer International Airport by President Jacob Zuma at an historic event held at the airport on 13 December 2012.

At the heart of the economy in the region, Bram Fischer International Airport offers a world-class airport operation that caters for more than 400 000 passengers and 20 000 air traffic movements per annum.

This international airport fulfils its role as an economic hub, ideally situated on the N8 Corridor, which links Bloemfontein, the industrial area of Botshabelo and Maseru in Lesotho.

Bram Fischer International has been designated as an economic node and focal point for development on the corridor.

The airport will continue to uphold Bram Fischer's name and legacy by facilitating growth and development in the Free State and specifically Mangaung.

Efficient service at the airport with friendly staff from Airlink. Very efficient security check at the airport with no long queues and waiting time. Flying there and back with Airlink is highly recommended due to their great service.
Flew with Safair. Efficient experience there was an short delay back but I mean there was a storm so understandable.
Due to bad weather, flight delayed by 4 hours. Departure hall packed with more people it can accommodate. Not nearly enough chairs /seating. Not adequate bathroom facilities for the amount of waiting passengers for 4 hours. No PA System keeping passengers updated. In fact, no PA System at all. It was hot and stuffy and no ventilation. Should not be classified as an International Airport.
The primary airport in Bloemfontein. It’s small but has the basics. Staff are friendly and the experience is pretty smooth and quick. The place is clean and COVID protocol is being adhered to. Could do with a few more shops / lounges though.
The Mug & Bean is a disgrace. Are they purposely ripping of people. A Can of coke is almost dubbel the price of cokes in shops and for 2 Orange juices you pay almost R100. Not to mention the chips. Just what is the purpose of these excobent prices. I already receaved comments ffrom friends not to buy food there or park there but buy food in town and just drop people off and now I understand why.
Small compact airport, one mugg& bean is enough to keep everyone fed, very clean with friendly efficient staff and flights always seem punctional.
Nice and neat small airport. Not too many flights, usually not crowded, so you do not need to come too early, one our befor flight is usually enough for a safe boarding. Plenty of parcking space in the vicinity, and taxis are usually waiting for the arriving passengers. Plenty of luggage trolleys are available. You can whatch planes on the nearby airfield from a caffe or from the boarding area. Plugs and USB sockets are available for charging, but only in the boarding area.
Mug&bean and Business lounge are operating no cellphone shops but hospitality is good and the airport is operating normal
The state of the gardens is shocking. This is an international Airport. What impression are visitors going to get of the country and Bloemfontein more specifically? I see even the public are beginning to do something about it. It's a disgrace. Management should be ashamed of themselves.
All went well, no stress or problems. Flying to JHB for Foreigner concert in Pretoria.
