Road Lodge Bloemfontein

There was a gent at the reception desk - His name is Comfort - who was the nicest, kindest person I have met in a long time. His sense of humour is amazing - service excellence of note!!! I would definitely return there just to see deal with him again.

Beautiful establishment and very friendly staff. Bloemfontein is cold in winter, rooms have working aircons, but requested for a blanket to safe on electricity. Service at the dining room was somewhat slow. Only one waiter available and the food took very long to be prepared. Food is delicious though. Will visit again.Rooms: 4/5

The parking area needs a bit of lighting. The reception was not welcoming. The first night for dinner no effort at all in food preparation. Chakalaka served straight from the tins the rump steak kebab was hard as a rock the food was hot and spicy. Not much options for non pork eaters, appreciated the substitute We appreciated the jugs of water they assisted with the food. The rooms are clean and I can't fault them. Overall work on Customer service and Food Preparation. Rooms: Rooms are clean and neat Nearby activities: Close to the Airport Safety: The parking is dark and scary with no sufficient lighting. Food & drinks: Would give food 3 out of 10.

Perfect 1 night stopper, clean rooms, friendly stuff, clean bedding... I've also stayed for more than a month, and it felt like home. I'll be booking here everytime I need a place at Bloemfontein. Nearby activities: Situated close to the Air Port. Walkability: The only place you can walk to is the air port

Though it's close to the airport,it's far from everything else. The dinner service is the worst I've ever experienced. I went for dinner at 18:30, my order was taken at 19:30 and only to get my food at 21:00. Fortunately, that was my last evening there. Not to say the previous 2 were. good. Rooms: 4/5

It was nice and warm welcoming. Small rooms though, with less space to keep one's stuff Rooms: Rooms are small and cousy. Walkability: It is a bit far from the city, right next to the airpot, Bram Fischer. For one to get there from the city, they need to use a transport. Food & drinks: Everything is okay with their food and drinks

My experience of the lodge was generally good. Had good service from the staff, and decent breakfast. Overall, it was satisfactory for the rates. I would book here again for an in-and-out visit to Bloemfontein.Rooms: 4/5

The overnight rest at the lodge was definitely a good choice. I would like to thank the staff for the friendly welcome and a Special Thanks to a staff member named Comfort who went the extra mile in attending to our needs and checking in with us on any further requirements. Exceptional Service is definitely his priority. Rooms are neat and comfortable beds which made us return for another booking 1 day later on our return to capetown. I will definitely be returning.
