Bread Basket Sandton City

Must be one of the oldest eateries, bread and pasterie shops in Sandton City. Been there for ages and I could never fault them for their service ,not their food and confectionary they offer. Lots of space to do your daily bread and cake shopping as well as a good selection. For those who like people watching while they have a cuppa, this is your place. What ever you choose on the menu, you will not be disappointed.

Love the Bread Basket. It's a cute little shop come coffee/ Cafe. The staff and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. The store and Cafe is very clean and open . Love coming here when we shop . They have delicious foods and the coffee is Divine and the croissants are mouth watering. My best is the Cheesecake. So worth the drive . Look forward to coming again .

Slightly expensive but such delicious treats! Freshly baked goodies that's worth your money. we recently had croissant day at the office, safe to say it was a success

Less than tolerable food, and the worst service ever. I've been here two times, and the service was lacking both times. You have to beg the waiter for your bill and a drink, while he's standing around behind the counter. When another staff member questions him he complains about how he's busy. Will not return, nor recommend. You will leave here a very frustrated person.

We have always had great experiences with whatever we buy from this place. Pastries, cookies, snacks etc everything taste soo good and fresh. The staff are super friendly and patient. We keep visiting whenever we are near Sandton. Also we buy different items every time to try new varieties and every time they are so good. Even the rates are economical. Must visit for sure.

The girl infront at the till wouldn't even look up from her phone after waiting 20 minutes for a card machine. food was good but the service is terrible. i will never be going back and advise anyone against going there. After calling the lady out about being on her phone and refusing to simply help us get our waiter who disappeared, she started laughing at us with her colleague. With so many competitors around this place at Sandton city ,service wise it's a joke

Second time it has happened that I have bagged up seed rolls and taken them to the counter and been charged for Cheese rolls instead which are substantially more expensive. Please hire staff with a basic minimum education that can operate a till.

Love the cheesecake and the coffee is always served with a smile. The staff are friendly and inviting and have great stories when you have a chance to chat to them. They have a Greek extension which serves excellent gyros.

Friendly staff. Worst place to be if you're dieting because carbs are life! Love their space. Loads of delicious everywhere.
