Bridge Street Brewery is a Cafe Bar, Bistro & Micro-Brewery.

Serving draughts on tap, pizzas, burgers, steaks, tapas style cuisine whilst regularly featuring South Africa's finest acoustic artists in a relaxed setting, with views of Port Elizabeth's luscious green belt.

An ideal and diverse venue catering for groups/parties of all sizes with walk-ins & children welcome.

This newly re opened and popular venue is home to one of South Africa's most respected brew masters Lex Mitchell.

"Bridge Street Brewery and DistilleryWe are a micro brewery with one of the biggest brew pubs situated in the lush Baakens Valley in Port Elizabeth.One of the first craft breweries in South Africa opened in 2011 and still going strong. The founding brewer, Lex Mitchel continues to visit us for a pint in the valley.In 2021 we started distilling craft spirits in a beautiful micro distillery that we had custom commissioned for us. We have a bespoke range of gins that we are very proud of and are on offer at Bridge Street.Our restaurant and function venues cater for a range of events and our menu includes wood fired pizzas. We regularly host events such as wine shows and musical tributes.A truly special place!"

Great place to have a quick bite or just a pint. Friendly staff and good vibe. Food is a bit expensive but overall it's a good place to relax.Food: 3/5
It's definitely the best place for pizza , delicious! Thin and crispy. Lovely atmosphere with a fireplace inside and an outside section with a lovely vibe.
This is a classy place to spend an evening. Whether it's a solo date or with someone or others. The ambience is perfect. The service is spot on. The food is delicious. Well, the wine is slightly overpriced but that's the norm everywhere. The couches are comfortable and you wouldn't want to leave. It has that effect.

Incredible food, atmosphere, staff and vibe! Seating inside or outside, a couple or with friends it has always been an enjoyable setting at bridge street! Food is quite pricey, but at the end of the day it is absolutely delicious and filling! The quantity size is good enough and on top of that it truly is first class. Desserts are very sweet, but it truly is worth the spend. Thank you bridge street staff for a great experience!!
This is by far one of the best places to go to when you feel like having a cold beer or a perfectly made cocktail with some deliciously well prepared meals. They never disappoint and they accommodate you beyond expectations, the view of the valley makes it unique, I would suggest booking in advance as they do get busy from 4pm upwards. Will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone when in an around the area.
Their new year's eve party where well balanced. I am 41. I was able to have fun and enjoy the music as much as the youth. The DJ was fantastic. The food was good. The staff interaction was pleasant. The experience was better than expected. Thank you and well done. Not an easy thing to pull off in Port Elizabeth.
Bridge Street Brewery is a very cute and cosy spot. The food and drinks were amazing and budget friendly. Tried 3 of their cocktails and not one of them disappointed! Perfect time to go there is around 2-4 as it gets busier in the evening, especially on weekends.
Beautiful atmosphere and scenery. Ideal for chillaz, dates and functions. Their food is not really their best but with their drinks they know what they're doing. The food is good, not the the best but good.
Absolutely enjoyed my time. Soft music playing and great service by the waiter's.
