Client service is really not important to Builders warehouse cape gate will never purchase anything from this particular store again. For an establishment that should make client service there main priority you really need to train your staff in how to talk to a customer in a friendly polite way and not get personal I asked the lady filling out my application form for the loyalty card if there is a possibility that someone else can assist me on an other computer because I'm in a little bit of a rush for work She then proceeded to tell me in a rude and sarcastic way SIR WE ALL HAVE WORK TO DO CAN YOU JUST WAIT She also then asked her colleague the sales person who helped me WHY DOSE HE WANT A LOYALTY CARD referring to me I find this extremely unprofessional for an employee that is supposed to take pride in customer service this is not how you speak to a potential customer or to a person in general I found it very hard to believe that an employee that's main goal is to make you as a potential customer feel comfortable and assured Could talk to you with such attitude and entitlement really disappointing.
I ordered online and the system saved the delivery date as 16 December. After sending 2 emails to enquire about the delivery no one bothered to return my request and product was still not delivered. After 2 days I had to physically go to the warehouse, cancel my order and bought a similar product from the floor. The online system does not work, there is no control over stock that needs to be ordered from supplier, to distributor. No communication between the Warehouse and customer.
Very big store packed with an array of building, paint and gardening equipment. Neat, clean, organised and well staffed. The shop assistants on the floor of each section is very friendly and accomodating and knows exactly where everything in their section is or who to refer you to in the next. The tailored product ranges exceeds that of Brights by far, in my opinion. Very cute nursery stacked with plants. Just overall a pleasant outing.
One of the worst customer services in my life. Came from Makro to buy an often for a better price. 1 We struggled to get hold of someone to help us. Asked the people around for assistance, but their response is "Not my apartment" 2 After 20 min finally got someone to help us. But he ask someone else to help me. And this one floor staff is arguing with the other floor staff about helping me. She threw a tantrum in front of multiple customersthis was crazy. 3 Eventually 45min later I got to the till to purchase the item. At the till, one of the other cashier is exclaiming to another staff member about not stealing my clients. This was the second time in a row we had unacceptable customer service. But this time, was the last. Definitely wont be supporting builders again. I honestly dont know how you can appoint such unprofessional staff.
Always stocked reasonably well, but the service is poor. Went looking for shade cloth and 2 staff members chatting ignored us and then one told us to go look around the corner... waited there - another customer joined us- but staff had disappeared. Eventually we had to leave. Massive plant section: why are there not good staff serving here????
Not good service.. I bought a flexible conduit .. they asked me to pay first and then.. I had to walk to 4-5 persons working here to cut 15 meter length.. only one girl name Yolandi was nice and helped me ..rest of staff is not helpful. Girl charged me for three 100x 40 trunking .. And I bought only two .. then I asked to credit back. Very bad service and takes long time.
Ill never return, just wasted 30mins, on my way to brights, way better service, to the lady whom cut my 2.5mm twin and Earth, keep the wire, your policy calls are way more important then mywire, also the guys working in the hardware playing around, you all a bunch of
What a waste of time. Went in to purchase a Counter Oven Cabinet, the manager in that department said they don't stock it, I told them it's on their website, only then did he send someone to check. I left the store & purchased it somewhere else where staff was very happy to assist me.
Disappointed to know that pensioners don't get discount on paint. I was specially waiting to buy my paint on Wednesday, pensioners day. The salesperson told us yes we do get but the cashier at the till told us NO DISCOUNT..i bought a 20litres paint that cost me R995
Nobody helping on the floor theres 20 staff members standing next to the carpets not assisting Gardening section is huge with no direction and lacking 60% of prices Otherwise its self service all the way
