Great variety of plants and pots in their nursery section... Also veggie stuff... Busy building my own veggie patch, so spending a lot of time in the store... Looking at the negative reviews I realise that most people who critisise are really the problem because they have their own issues that the like to dump on people who they think are 'beneath' them.... Sad but true
Walking into the store to find what I went for and so many staff walked pass me not asking if I need assistance just made me feel unwelcomed. I eventually found what I was looking for and made my way to the checkout. The only person that made the effort to even greet was the security guard when he asked to check my slip and the items purchased. I won't be back to this store if I had the other options available to me.
Desperately needed thin stainless wire and i managed to fine the perfect wire however it was loose. Asked the employees if we could perhaps purchase the wire and they said no since they didnt have in stock. Was deeply disappointed and was willing to pay any price for that loose bit of wire.
Excellent store, with all you need for building, repairs or house and garden. The staff are decent but could be more attentive. They have a great garden section and there is ample, safe on-site parking. Also, the hot dog stand out front is great!
Nice shop but variety can let them down. Often end up being frustrated. Range is sometimes mystifying. Rarely do they have everything I am looking for and then need to go elsewhere. Staff not as knowledgeable on their range as they should be.
Big lumber store that carries many supplies or has access to them. The front area is for the DIY shoppers and then they have a contractors area so there's a lot more materials there that can't be seen by the average customer which also makes it hard to know what they have unless you look it up online ahead of time.
Do not waste your time at this builders branch. There was no one at Information for a good chunk of my time at the store, so no one could help me get that I intended to purchase. I needed assistance to retrieve the products from a locked display and it took nearly an hour to locate the person with a key. They didn’t have exactly what I needed so I asked for the next best range - they knew nothing about the products and could not make a professional recommendation. Not the Builders experience I associate with the brand. Do better!
Next to the builders warehouse is this wonderful hotdog cart! Fabulous.
Received the worst service today at the Cape Gate branch. Drove all the way from the southern suburbs to purchase tiles which they had in stock but went home without buying anything as there wasn’t anyone available in store to assist. Asked a few sales assistants who were standing around, it was even announced over the loud speaker yet after 30 minutes we were still standing at the flooring department waiting to be assisted. Ended up just leaving the store as the assistants clearly weren’t interested in helping.
Service is really bad, you always have to look for someone to help you - there is NO staff enthusiasm....*honestly, that comes from the top down.... In my opinion, there are better places to shop...where service is really with a smile. 2 stars for the stock carried in store....
