SCAM!!! The place seems to have closed about a year ago but website still functioning as if they are still operational. Phones wont go through though. Please dont be scammed like we were!!!Rooms: 1/5
I really enjoyed my short stay at the resort. The staff is friendly, welcoming and always willing to assistbut I would like to give a big shout out to Clement... The guy loves his job and he made our stay worthwhile. The food was delicious , I can't fault this place. It's absolutely perfect. Thank you from a happy and satisfied customer.
The lodge was built as a four star, it is modern, with beautiful views and the potential of great ambiance but it is so badly managed. Dusty, not neat, there were no toiletries available It is not run as a four star. We pointed out all to management, the receptionist disnt even respond. The manager engaged but did not rectify anything.
Overall experience of the place was horrible, we experienced miscommunication/false advertising upon arrival. We were promised heaven and earth, none of which was delivered. The food was HORRIBLE and RIDICULOUSLY PRICEY. The place is not properly maintained. It's also not very clean. The one star of that place is Andy/Sfiso the barman.
Lovely place and clean rooms. Asked for interleading rooms and got them. Get a dedicated server to attend to your needs at meal times. Only negatives so far is the drive is over dirt roads so undercarriage of car is damaged; there is no inhouse shuttle to get to the activities; and the rooms have a lot of insects such as scorpions etc. Otherwise lovely service and attitudes from all.
This is truly a gem in Limpopo. As you drive in you are greeted with friendly faces and not only by the guys at the gate, but also by all the magnificent animals. Wow, on the short ride in from the gate to the amazing 4 star lodge, we saw Giraffe, Eland, Blou Wildebees, Kudu and Impala and it wasnt even 2km. When you arrive at the Lodge itself, oh my word it is absolutely mind blowing. The views, the setup, the friendly staff and never mind the rooms as they make you feel like you fell into the lap of luxury and were born of Royal decent. Rooms have amazing showers bigger than most people's bathrooms. The baths are truly enormous. There is even outside showers which must be tried, showering under the stars in an experience that cannot be explained in words. There is an amazing fireplace in every room and a beautiful deck overlooking the dam. The food is to die for and the prices are very reasonable, actually cheaper than most local restaurants. Then you get the bar and the amazing cocktails served. There is such a variety of drinks available whether you are a wine or whiskey connoisseur to the average beer or cider drinker, it is all catered for and is really affordable. Then there is the game drives, so much fun and the rangers are so experienced and friendly. I truly will be back over and over again as this is probably the best experience available and it wont break the bank. Thank you Silver Streams for a truly epic adventure and experience.
Beautiful lodge! Lovely, well planned design. Spacious rooms with immaculate finishes. Just seems a little neglected which can easily be rectived with good management. The two batsmen were friendly and helpful.
The place is beautiful very quiet, my room was big enough for 2, with spa bath, fireplace, the river is behind, a patio. The food, out of this world. I enjoyed the spa, the lady is good. The lodge staff, very nice. I would definitely recommend
This lodge was an amazing escape! Fantastic rooms, quality food and extremely friendly staff. Enough activities to keep us occupied during our stay. Would highly recommendRooms: 5/5
Need more maintenance and clean. Managing also need improvement. Wi-Fi are not board enough to each room.
