Ezingweni Safari Lodge and Day Bush Spa is owned by Cas and Monica Castelyn, and together with a highly skilled management and staff will be making sure that your stay is as comfortable, relaxing and fulfilled as possible. We see to everyone's personal needs and try to accommodate each individual.

Ezingweni Game Farm is situated in the southern range of the Waterberg mountains, halfway between Bela-Bela (Warmbaths) and Modimolle (Nylstroom) in the Limpopo province of South Africa. Only a one hour drive from Pretoria, yet far away from the city lights, this is the place to experience the African dream.

13 species of game can be viewed on safari from the specially equipped game-viewing 4x4 vehicles. Night drives always generate a lot of excitement as the nocturnal wildlife comes out of hiding and the bush is alive with anticipation of the leopard on the hunt. The Waterberg is renowned for its leopard population and travelers to this region always hope for a glimpse of this elusive beast.

Accommodation is self-catering and all units are fully equipped with everything from salt and pepper to bed linen and towels. We offer chalets, tented camps, a camping site and a honeymoon suite.

Ezingweni Safari Lodge Conference Venue

Our purpose-built conference facility is located in a thatched lapa overlooking the stunning mountain range. The centre is ideally suited to small groups that want to get away from the hurly burly of city life and focus their attention on the matters that need to be addressed in a tranquil environment.

All the hassles of administering your conference are taken off your hands so that your delegates can look forward to comfortable and cosy accommodation as well as the best quality food and service at reasonable prices.

A maximum of 32 people can be accommodated.

With breathtaking views, personal service and red carpet treatment, Ezingweni Safari Lodge and Day Bush Spa is the perfect venue for your special day. Our venue is ideal for smaller, intimate weddings and can accommodate a maximum of 60 guests. We look forward to welcoming you to Ezingweni Safari Lodge and Day Bush Spa and making your day a memorable one!


Our Wedding Package

The Honeymoon suite is perfect to retire to on the night of your wedding.
(This includes flowers, champagne, chocolates and fruit as well as a breakfast the next morning).

Venue Hire : R10,000.00


Includes the following:
•Chapel
• Tables, Chairs, Cutlery, Crockery, Long white tablecloths, Gift table, Cake table, Chair covers, Ribbons for the Chairs, Candles. One colour serviettes will be used.
•Draping behind the main table.
•Music will be provided until 12h00, after 12h00 the music is for your account which is R200.00 per hour.
•Waitresses will be provided to serve drinks and cleaning up afterwards.

Garden Chapel
•Red-carpet, chairs, arch (draping arch).
• Only Rose petals, bubbles, butterflies & doves are allowed as confetti.

Extras
•Hiring of Overlay’s @ R20.00 per overlay
•The Flowers will be for your account.
•Music will be provided until 12h00, after 12h00 the music is for your account which is R200.00 per hour.
•A Ranger will be provided for the Bride and the Groom to go and take some photographs afterwards.
•A Professional Photographer can be supplied for your cost.
• Cash Bar includes: Bar-man, glasses and ice.

Menus
•There are a variety of menus to choose from.
•Confirmation of numbers: 14 days before the function.
• Children from 6-12 years of age are charged half price & children from 0-5 years are R30.00

Deposit, payment and terms
•We require a 25% of the total quote and a refundable R2000.00 deposit to secure your date.
• This refundable deposit can not be used to pay off any items on the day of function, nor is it deducted from your account.
•Any outstanding bills i.e. bar bills, are to be paid in full at the end of the function by cash or credit card only.
• The deposit also serves as a breakage deposit, which will be refunded to the client 14 working days after the function.
• If breakages occur, the value of breakages will be deducted from your deposit. Should breakages be more than the R2000.00 deposit – you will be required to settle full amount.
•Deposit is not refundable on cancellation under any circumstances whatsoever.
•10% Gratuity is added to the total food and liquor bill for the waiters.
•Balance to be paid 1 month before function, electronic transfer or credit card.
• No personal cheques will be accepted.
• Ezingweni Safari Lodge is a fully licensed venue.


Ezingweni Day Bush Spa

The distinctiveness of our Ezingweni Safari Lodge and Day Bush Spa lies in its essential qualities, where our therapists are seen as keepers of water, capturing nature’s powerful healing essences through touch, smell and taste.

Our treatment rooms are named after an indigenous tree growing on Ezingweni. The tree’s uniqueness is incorporated into our signature welcome touch to ease you into your treatment, which is especially designed for the individual room to add to the soothing of body, mind and soul. On arrival the expert therapist will have a personal consultation session with you to discuss your specific needs to ensure the most appropriate treatments.

All our uniquely designed treatments are guaranteed to be of world class standard. Advance bookings for your spa treatments are essential. Special packages are also designed to suit individual needs.

Full Day | Package Price: R1900.00 per Person

5 Treatments : Hands, Feet, Head & Shoulders, Scrub, Back & Neck / Full Body

Half Day | Package Price: R1000.00 per Person

3 Treatments : Back & Neck / Full Body plus any 2 treatments from the Full Day Package


Game drives

Ezingweni Safari Lodge and Day Bush Spa is home to a wide variety of both small and large antelope species, giraffe, zebra, warthog, bush pig.
Quad bikes and mountain bikes can be hired at reception (for game and scenic drives).
• Quad bikes 1 hour drive R100/person/hour & R200/person/2 hours
• Game drives on a 4x4 game viewing vehicle R100/person/hour

Hiking trails

The farm’s topography and roads are suitable for private hiking trails at your own leisure without any risk. Guests are invited to take their own leisurely walks to experience the very best that nature has to offer. A wide variety of indigenous trees, plants and shrubs, as well as an array of bird species (240 bird species) forms part of the fauna and flora of the area and are enjoyed and respected by both our visitors and our staff. An early morning guided bush pig trail can be arranged for the more courageous guests.


Clay pigeon shooting

Please book in advance at reception. You hire a clay pigeon gun for R100 and each clay costs R12/shot.


Horseback riding

Book your horseback riding experience well in advance through reception. Cost for this activity is as follows:
• 90 minute ride R150/person
•150 minute ride R250/person
• 200 minute ride R350/person
• Pony rides R50/child


Fun activities for the children (and young at heart)

Volleyball, pool, table tennis, darts can be played at the Restaurant’s recreation area. Swimming in one of the many waterholes in the river will let any person and child’s heart beat faster. Paintball games are booked at reception at R120/person, including the mask, paintball gun, ammunition and protective gear. Subsequent magazines with paintballs cost R50 (70 balls).
