Really nice location, decent showers although flimsy curtains which flap around so didn’t give you any privacy in the shower. Great bar, really fun decor. We did a canoeing trip which was overbooked, no info or useful interaction from the guide, not very comfortable - shop around for better options if you’re canoeing. Also, be wary of biting river flies! Camping ground nice. Bar only takes cash FYI.
5 star holiday!!!! The best guides, the best views, the best food - all round AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
Words can't do justice to the experience we've just had so I'll keep this one short. The guides are warm, professional, and knowledgeable. The staff at the campsite are, too. The trip is perfect for friends, couples, and families but expect to row a bit - it's not a leisure trip. You'll see beautiful sunsets and sunrises, fish eagles and kingfishers, and quite a few baboons scaling the hills and mountainsides. Now for the best part. The food. Is. Amazing. I'm so impressed with what the team puts together right there on the banks of the river. Truly an awesome experience and we can't wait to come back next year.
What a beautiful campsite, super neat and perfectly situated on the Orange River
We had the most amazing time with Bushwacked. The food was delicious, the sceneries were unreal and the guides were so informative and a helping hand whenever we needed them! I will definitely come back and recommend anyone booking a trip through Bushwacked!
This place was great, cute little bar overlooking the river. Lots of open space and the option of upgrades were available. There was even a pontoon that was out floating on the river that could be used if you wanted a swim in the river. The dogs were super friendly, just look out as they poop anywhere they like. So if you're camping, have a look around your site before setting your tent.
Good friendly staff, very professional and I will take on the river again, it was a great experience and cant wait til next time
Arrived after a storm. Booked 3 rooms. Found facilities full of dust. Fishing Average, to much grass.Price right for what you get. Bedding clean and crisp. Room was an old caravan boxed into a Wendy house. It works.
Great campsite. Unique and awesome bar. Right on the river bank. Great variety in river trip options. Highly recommend the 4-day trips. Great customer service from the guides and everyone on the team. Would recommend this to anyone.
Had an amazing time with excellent views and excellent guides. The food was out of this world and the main camp site is full of character and so welcoming!
