Disgraceful conduct and attitude towards doctors servicing your members. Always a battle to get claims paid. I would not recommend this medical aid.
CAMAF is a truly one of its kind medical aid, with affordable options in all categories of affordability. However the one key stand out point is that no matter which option you choose, you guaranteed to have the best benefits in its class compared to the rest of the industry. I have never had any issues in my 9 years as a CAMAF member and I would never change from them as my partner in health! Highly recommended if you a professional that qualifies!
I have been with CAMAF for 10 years. CAMAF has mastered and understands the needs of their people. Their staff is extremely helpful and have been consistent in delivering great service. I regard their medical aid as superior because of the quality of their products and service! With CAMAF I have peace of mind that I can rely on them for the best care in the world in my time of need.
Members for 17years now and only received great service. We have compared it to other funds and they were not able to match the benefits. My employer pays a 50% contribution if we are members of another well known fund. We rather loose the contribution and pay 100% ourselves to stay with CAMAF. Thank you for looking after my family.
Been on CAMAF for a year and almost 6 months now and I am really impressed with their service and response time. There was a time where I was constantly in and out of hospital and their approval turn around time was top tier didn't have to jump through hoops for approval and that was one less thing to worry about. Claims are also paid timeously with very minimal co-payments, so overall happy about the service.
CAMAF is the best medical aid. Communication is sent out frequently. Every claim is processed timeously. When a claim is not approved, reasons are provided. I am also impressed with the extra services such as having a representative Joanna Upton visiting our office in Port Elizabeth every month . She is super friendly and responds promptly on email requests.
Our family has had only good experiences with CAMAF, especially their call centre staff - and that in itself says a LOT! Fast and efficient, and to the point. We recently had need for them again when a family member was injured on a day trip. Can honestly say that between the ER and CAMAF, the most efficient and professional treatment we received was from CAMAF.
I'm currently in the waiting room of my doctors practice however I can't go in because camaf offices are closed and they can't verify my medical aid. I wasn't aware that I can only be sick Monday - Thursday!!! I am fuming!! What rubbish is this! I cannot wait to get off this useless medical aid
