Schmidt & Hunter Biokinetics is a biokinetic centre focusing on Orthopedic, Metabolic and Special Population Rehabilitation.
The center is equipped with a Biodex System 3, which enables us to test and exercise all major joints of the body (Isokinetically, Eccentrically, Concentrically and Isometrically). This also assists in finding a baseline of strength and endurance within the muscle in order to monitor progress.
It also has the ability to passively move joints within a desired range to increase mobility through various planes.
Biokinetics is also focused on patient specific needs and is keen on promoting a healthy lifestyle. We encourage all who are interested in becoming actively involved with healthy living to come in for a screening and follow a prescribed exercise programme.
We are also registered on Vitality and are able to do the Vitality assessments.
