As someone who is enthusiastic about supporting smaller businesses, I believe I was carried away by the sensationalism of the name. That being said it is a bitter sweet review to give. I haven't tried their talked about bunnies yet, but I have ordered 4 double mutton burgers a few days ago which I must say was fantastic. Today ordered to full Chicken Tikka Meals and I feel gravely deceived. The meal comes with chicken Tikka pieces, chips, four rolls and savory rice, so where do I begin...I ordered 2 hot and the chicken was at best lemon and herb, dry with hardly any sauce and sort of fatty. The bird tasted mostly of its skin and nothing else. Chips were OK, the extra sauce given was a sachet of tomato sauce, again no heat to be found, savory rice had no flavor and the four rolls were actually 2 rolls cut into 4 pieces. Herein lies the deceit, which is disappointing as I do understand small businesses are trying to make ends meet in tough economic times, but cutting 2 rolls into 4 is really not on. I had my family members short of rolls haha. To think Pedro's has a full chicken meal for R129.90 served with everything promised, I do feel robbed paying R150 for this.

By far the best bunny in Tongaat. Cannot believe that they have been here forever and I never visited them. Most recommended . We had the mutton bunny and the full chicken. DelishFood: 5/5

I really enjoyed the mutton bunny here, and often order it when I am in the area. It never disappoints. They have a huge selection of meals with seating or take away options. They are licensed as well so you can enjoy your meal with your favorite drink. They can get quite busy during rush hours, and parking is limited and you can wait awhile during lunch hours. Recommend.

Food is divine, we ordered the mutton and chicken bunnies as well as a mild chicken Tikka for the kids. Parking: Parking is very limited as there is a bar on-site as well.

Ordered via DC Delivery: The food was decent I really liked their veg burger especially the hot, their margherita pizza surprised me, it was really worth its price, even through it had green peppers and some kind of barbeque sauce, I enjoyed it a lot. However, the sugar beans bunny left much to be desired, it was okay, bread was fresh, but had a sweet taste to it usually from using extra cinnamon, cardamom or garam masala?, slightly less salt to taste, and could have been a bit hotter though that is a personal preference. But all in all would definitely continue to support them for their good food . Vegetarian options: Veg Soya Burger, Margherita pizza

Most disgusting food I have eaten in my life , the mutton bunnies were bitter and watered down to create gravy , the mutton curry and rice was like a soup / water , I contacted the manager and owner both of which are useless , false promises made , promised to follow up with the chef and call us back 1 week later still no communication, this was the most disgusting food I had ever tasted in my life , was thrown in the bin not even good enough to feed a dog . Never buy from this pathetic place again , article will be posted in newspapers etc .
