Cape Town Fish Market - Grand West

We've been twice and both times were blown away by the food. It's fresh, tasty and well presented, and the kids food was just as good. The portions are generous and the prices are decent, although the sushi is considerably expensive compared to most. The service was outstanding and the staff were incredibly accommodating. The drink prices aren't bad either - what you'd expect for this type of restaurant. Kid-friendliness: The kids menu has a nice variety and the food is really good. The waitress brought us a coloring in page and Crayons, but other than that there's not much in the way of playground. There is a fake ships steering wheel that will keep them entertained.

Everything was fine, but the service. We went on a Tuesday during lunch time. With only one table, which is ours, the sushi took about an hour to be served. It was very frustrating as it was lunchtime with no other tables to serve, but at least the sushi made up for that.Food: 4/5

It was an amazing experience. Beautiful place and friendly staff. Loved it. The food was amazing. I went there with my mom and we had a smoked salmon salad, seafood platter for two my mom then had dessert and I had a virgin pina colada.

Food was amazing, from the starters to the dessert was great. Restaurant was about 30% full but waiting time was a bit long. The waiter didn't help the situation either. No smile no introduction., answered questions regarding the menu in a way that made me feel like I inconvenience her by being there. One of the worse experiences with a waiter. The great food will have me coming back but a more pleasant waiter would've made the experience alot better.

Slow service - long wait times -Great food Cape Town Fish Market Grandwest will give you a bitter sweet feeling. -We were seated instantly, ordering our drinks as we arrived - we waited 20min for our drinks to arrive. -Once we ordered we proceeded to wait a further 1 hour for the food to arrive. -The sushi was some of the best iv ever had and their sirloin steak was delicious, even though they gave it to me rare when I asked for medium . If you are not in a rush Cape Town Fish Market Grand West is for you as its meals are worth the wait but if you want to say goodbye to 1hour and 30min of your evening it's also your best bet . I'd come back to this restaurant but it's nothing to write home about .

Good day, Today we had a Mother's day lunch at CTFM - Grand West. There were 10 of us, we weren't happy with one of the orders which was the Kalk Bay Platter for 2, it came with a quarter cup of rice, 5 strips of calamari, and 10 chips, I complained because my son that took the Fish Hoek platter for 1 had more calamari than the platter for 2 and even his rice was more. The waiter called the manager who told me the rice is just garnish???? So the menu says it comes with rice but the manager said its garnish like it's a piece of parsley? This is just mind blowing. In future we will rather go to Ocean Basket.

I must say this was one of thee best burgers and chips i had ever had anywhere, it was so filling everything was cooked/fried to perfection. My first experience at Cape Town fish market Grandwest definitely worth it only thing is that the milkshake was so thick it couldn't really be sucked up through the straw provided but still the milkshake was delicious ‍ the deck setting omg everything was just amazing

Disappointing sushi. Have had much better from other CTFM locations e.g. Tokai Tempanyaki was at least decent if the steak was tough.Food: 1/5

What an amazing experience I had at today's lunch. The food was absolutely divine. The baby squid was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. THANK YOU TO THE WONDERFUL waitress we had, if I remembered correctly her name was Mavis. Her friendly manner and her joyful attitude made dining there feel more than comfortable. Brilliant service
