This was my first time staying at Suncoast Hotel and it was nice. The ambiance, atmosphere and service was exceptional. Breakfast was good, I like that they have different time options for guests which is so convenient, especially during Covid.  The room was neat and clean. The only thing I was not happy about was that the aircon didn't work, it was blowing warm air. I did call someone to check it out and they said that it takes about 30 minutes to start cooling the room, but yet I had it on the entire night and it still did not cool the room AND, the shower head did not work properly; the hand shower was not working at all needs to be replaced , but other than that I had a good experience . It is worth booking.

Having spent most of the last week at the casino I can say without certainty that the guest satisfaction level is way below average. 70% of all the guests I have spoken to find the casino staff rude, unhelpful and very lazy! The few here and there that had something nice to say also made it very obvious that they had developed a good relationship with some staff.  The special is amazing and all the individual venues should remain in their current brackets for great service and satisfaction.

There’s the Real Deal special that allows you for R290 to have a meal for two at some of the good restaurants, watch a movie, have a drink and more. My wife have enjoyed taking advantage of this deal at this place. I abhor the gaming though and the fact that throngs of people waste their lives there. It is a beautiful world class environment though.

The rooms are nice however the restaurant is slow at dinner. The garden is beautiful and good for relaxation with a pool to top it all.  There is plenty of access to fast food joints and quality restaurants next to the beach. very good for runners, easy access to beachfront run.

Loved this place. Celebrated my mums 70th birthday in one of the restaurants called Havana Grill. Reasonable prices, great food and vibe. Private room Ocean view

I stayed here during Durban July! Awesome hotel with great staff and delicious breakfast! The casino is there so you really don't have to go far for anything.

By far one of the best in Durban, the see view, the security level on point, the calmness inside the Building... it's just a wonderland! Very very clean! And fast service to restaurants inside

John Doris Suncoast Casino Durban, wow that place is beautiful please visit and have a life time experience of fun and entertainment. It a family vibes bring kids along they'll enjoy the kiddos play area.

Suncoast has done a lot of upgrades from the past. Plenty to do here for adults and kids. Easy access to the beach and a wide variety of restaurants. Check out the Barnyard Theatre for a show, it won't disappoint. Facilities are cleaned regularly and staff are very helpful with providing directions. There is a massive parking lot so you will find a parking space although it can sometimes be a distance from where you are walking to.

Very nice casino with a wide choice of eateries and a few shops. Loved the beach walk and adult pedal cars that you can rent. Just avoid the movie theater its over priced, hot as hell and so humid i felt ill after my visit.
