Cape Town Lodge Hotel

I must commend the staff on assisting us whenever. My mum and I were staying for a few nights before we returned to Durban. Staff were so kind to lend us their sticky tape and ruler when we needed to send off a box with the courier guy :D also the kitchen staff made a real effort to accommodate my mum and I on Monday and Tuesday we abstain from meat on Mon, Tues and Fridays and we don't eat beef or pork. Quality food at the breakfast buffet. The airport shuttle definitely came in handy when we needed to be at the airport. Safe calm driving and bringing us to the airport well in advance. Keep up the good work ladies and gents

Came for a workshop. Limited parking inside up very steep driveway. Small cars advised. Friendly staff, catering tasty and hotel interior is a pleasant surprise, considering where it is situated. Not recommended to walk around outside after dark. Good proximity to Waterfront.Service: 5/5

Wonderful food, very good location, very comfortable room. The problem we had was that we wanted to stay one more night, they said we could do it the same day and we followed the advice. Delivering, on the day, they said that there was no more vacancy and that we had to leave. The people at the reception were not kind and did not make any effort to help us with this situation, which caused a lot of inconvenience on our trip.

This hotel is well located,not far from Long Street and Adderley Street. Had the deluxe room that is well furnished. Very clean hotel. Staff very helpful.I didn't get my suitcases and they kept calling SAA. This hotel is good value for money ! Would come back here ,eyes closed Rooms: Very airy and clean. Nearby activities: Long street is 3 blocks aways.Not far away from Greenmarket and St George Mall street. Safety: Very safe hotel,there is 24 hour security. Walkability: Walkable distance from city centre.Only concern is that one should not walk alone at night.Noted that during the day and early night there are public safety officers.

Simply majestic bring your loved one an spend a few nights. Has a lovely pool on the roof top. Located in town buitengracht /Manhattan Place Rooms: Rooms are so adorable

I spent two nights here. Very clean, comfortable rooms and very reasonably priced and safe and secure. Entire staff is polite and professional. This was my first trip to Cape Town South Africa. I had a rental car and parking garage is by entrance. English buffet breakfast is included with room rate and is extensive buffet. So large I didn’t even want lunch. There is a great Steak restaurant on first floor that has a great menu, serves great steak meals. Two musicians played piano and base every night which added great atmosphere. I was traveling alone. I would recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone! Rooms: Very clean, modern with great modern upto date bathroom Safety: Very safe with large front desk staff. Walkability: Within walking distance to down town and port. Food & drinks: The Butchers Grill Steak House is on the first floor. Great menu, I had dinner here three nights, delicious steaks cooked to perfection, nice selection of other entrees, great appetizers, French fries, vegetables, fresh Greek salad, deserts and drink selection with several Local beers. Noteworthy details: Great Breakfast buffet!

The hotel is amazing with great facilities just some staff members need a wake up call on guest satisfaction. Just wanted to drop off my luggage before check in times, asked receptionist lady on duty for the bathroom and mentioned nothing is on this floor meanwhile the bathrooms are directly opposite the elevators on the SAME FLOOR! Came back at 23h50 only to find all main entrance doors are locked, two gentlemen in reception insisted I use the parking bay door since doors are locked from 23h00. Any notice? Any mention in the confirmation email? Any "exceed guest expectations?" Why not just unlock and welcome the guest back?! As a hospitality connoisseur, regardless of class, diversity or gender, service should be on par and standard. Just lack of professionalism from staff.

This hotel makes you feel very unwelcomed and can ruin your entire holiday. The staff are absolutely stubborn and will not even smile. You get charged for every single thing! Even a bottle of water which is complimentary in all hotels! They look to give you fines which are lies to get you to pay an extra R1500 at the end of your stay and they charged a deposit of R1000 when you check in. Their price may be cheap but after all the costs they add you would be better off staying at another hotel. There is fear that if you touch or break something by mistake you will be liable. Not suitable for kids. This hotel is more like a prison then a place of leisure. You feel as if you in jail and can't do anything. Watched like a hawk and pay for everything even room service! Noteworthy details: The staff and way they do and handle things ruined my vacation I will never go or recommend this jail hotel.

Great location, very safe, friendly staff. We had a view on the table mountain! Gym had no climate control, so we sweat a lot haha. Pool at the top was cleaner than other reviews described. Very calm there with a great view. Music at dinner was superb.

Very comfortable and central in down town Cape Town. Breakfast is good and quick and they have a nice bar to use after a long day if you want too take a brake and also a good quality restaurant. Rooms are actually very big compared to other hotels and has a fridge. Each floor has an ice machine as well as an ironing room which is a 1st for me
