We offer treatment & rehabilitation services to manage a wide range of conditions. Management is integrated to improve health by addressing previous injuries, possible contributing or risk factors, chronic diseases of lifestyle, & overall wellness.
I believe that we all have the inherent capabilities to improve. I am proud to combine my growing knowledge of the human body, my interest in body and mind wellness, and meeting people from all walks of life to aid and facilitate in this improvement – in myself, and most importantly, in you!
I have a keen interest in the holistic management of neuromusculoskeletal and orthopaedic injuries, as well as various pain syndromes such as osteoarthritis, chronic low back and neck pain, and fibromyalgia, and chronic diseases of lifestyle such as high blood pressure and diabetes mellitus type 2. After completing a period of community service, and completing a postgraduate certification in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) in 2010, I gained vast experience working in a number of private physiotherapy clinics serving a diverse Western Cape. Besides my clinical work in private practice, I am also involved in undergraduate training as a clinical educator and part-time lecturer. My postgraduate research has focused on the risk factors for musculoskeletal pain, particularly that of a chronic nature, as well as chronic diseases of lifestyle. These experiences have lead me to find a passion to combine these facets to promote evidence-based practice, which ensures that management of your needs remains up to date and clinically relevant.
