I bought a xbox controller today at cash Converters. I was very interested in the second hand wireless one. But after the purchase i asked the lady who helped me if it could be used wireless on a PC? She was very nice and helpful,said that it's not going to work on the PC wirelessly. The sale was already through and I then changed my mind and would rather then take the new Xbox 360 controller with the wire which was cheaper by R70. She then went to manager at the back,to get permission to reverse the transaction . What bothered me was the manager said she could reverse the deal but I wouldn't get 6 months gaurantee. I felt very disappointed because as a customer it feels like I wasn't suppose to ask to reverse the deal. And if I would get home and the controller doesn't work there's nothing I could do .. I'm so happy that it does work but the way to deal with a customer was not what I expected....
I was personally at the shop and left telling everyone what nice friendly staff there is and how great the service was. The sales staff are also very friendly and most helpful .I I found the Manager extremely friendly. I also found the Owner to be a hands on guy who always treats me with respect and extremely good to his staff. 12 Dec 2022 However today I got the most apauling service and walked out. But please dont let this be a reflection on all the staff there are some great people working there. Manager needs to give them a little more responsibility everything they do they first say I will first have to speak to the Manager. Its a shame because they are all very bright but have to act like puppets

Great communication, price and customer service. I found a product Cash Converters listed on Gumtree. I emailed them to keep it for me. They contacted me on whatsapp, as requested, within the hour telling me they set it aside for me. They responded within minutes to further communications until I picked it up later. A great experience. Thank you
We arrived 10min earlier than opening time, the doors were open and stock were outside and the staff did not want us to enter shop. We were chased out of shop. Will never support them... we went to JB Treasure Trading before opening time and they let us in.
Bought a blu ray player from then and after 10 minutes into the movie it started to flash funny colours and the sound went away, even tried a different hdmi cable and TV still did the same thing. I thought they test the stuff they sell, before selling it to the public
Some really good staff with great customer service. Hope they can keep them.
Very friendly staff, always Helpful and they never hover over you
Just make sure everything you sell is good qaulity then they will pay you a good amount
