Castleburn Farms UNDERBERG, KwaZulu Natal

We were chasing snow and got it at CastleBurn - Awesome The entire resort turned to a WINTER WONDERLAND in a few hours....Awesome stuff. Helpful staff and good service, however, they need to put a mixer in the bathroom basin and a shower in the main bedroom bathroom as well.

Helpful staff and generally good service, but they could not, in in 2 days and 3 maintenance visits get the hot tub to work. Rather just put up a sign saying it doesn't work, because a hot tub with Berg temperature water is nor a hot tub. Everything else good.Rooms: 4/5

I would recommend it for a holiday as a family. There are lot of family activities at the venue. Free pony rides for kids under 10 and a lot more activities for the kids. Kids have things to do for the whole day. The views . I am definitely going back in summer . Food & drinks: There is an in-house restaurant, the food and service was 100%. I am definitely going back.

Blown away! Absolutely stunning. Accommodation is beautiful and spacious, really nice restaurant and bar. Great activities for kids. If you like to trail run or hike or ride its the place to go.Rooms: 5/5

The units are neat, clean and well equipped with all you need for self-catering. The views are beautiful, in any direction. The staff were friendly and a problem we had was immediately attended to by the housekeeping manager vs at our next place where I had to ask three times for a towel. The units are now stocked with lamps for load shedding, and they have gas stoves available at reception. Fishing was great. The restaurant's service, food and coffee we found really good and very reasonably priced. My impression is that they take reviews and guest satisfaction seriously. We had a lovely time.

THE BEST IN THE DRAKENSBERG Clean and neat units, beautiful views of the bergs, such a nice place I love the facilities and these chalets are so well equipped, and the place has a fireplace and a braai. The lake is beautiful. Great restaurant and friendly staff. Not much to say other than the fact that it was fab! will book again.

Beautiful views. Really well situated in the heart of Drakensberg. Lovely walks/hikes suitable for all. Routes do need to be cleared of brambles in places and the markings renewed. The coloured routes were not always easy to find ot follow. The restaurant food was fair to average but the service there was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of space for younger ones. Lots of activities available. Fly fishing, horse riding, swimming pool, games room, putt putt, tennis court etc. Recommended.

We booked a 2 bed apartment and we got upgraded to a 4 bed house ..it was such a treat!! The staff are super friendly and the food is top notch. A well deserved little break in a little piece of paradise. Till we meet again.Rooms: 5/5

We never slept over but always have a really great breakfast or lunch. The food, service and the facilities are really excellent.Service: 5/5

A wonderful resort with so much to offer. The main clubhouse, bar and restaurant has power during loadshedding so plan for more dinners. WiFi allocation is capped and purchasing extra WiFi is double the price. So if you need to do business take your own router. Incredibly peaceful, lovely walks and a great place to rest. The staff are efficient and friendly. Love going back each year. My pics are of the Sunset walk we did.
