Have been struggling with allergic rhinitis for over a month, and put off going to see the doctor as I have been too busy. The coughing was getting unbearable and post nasal drip keeping me up every night. Went to see Doctor Helga Lohse, and I am a hundred percent better! She is a Gem! Friendly, empathetic and caring. Just love her! Thank you ever so much Doc!
The practice has no time management skills. I was told by the receptionist that I would be seen after 2 patients however other people were seen before me. 2 days prior I had a telephonic appointment with the doctor and was not given medical advice as she requested some details via email or I should come into the practice. After sending details via email and having NO response , I was still charged for the appointment. Really disappointing and I would not go back.
Came to see Dr Steenkamp and honestly had such a lovely experience, Rose was so helpful and gave such a warm welcome, will definitely be only coming here!! quick and so gentle truly so grateful!
Wonderful doctors. They claim directly from medical aid which helps a lot. Thanks guys

Always a good experience visiting Dr Steenkamo's pracitce. Very efficient and always ensures that your consultation is thorough and attentive to the patients needs.
Excellent service, the receptionist Rose is so efficient and Dr Steenkamp is so caring and professional, will definitely go to her in times of need, a big thank you.
The service is horrible. The receptionists is unprofessional. I waisted 1 hour of my time for nothing waiting for GP. And in the end did not able to see her. I totally understand, they have to do they job but I am paying costumer. The service isn’t free. R650 for probably 5 minutes consultation. I expect some dignified respect to words me. I shouldn’t give even 1 . P.S If you ever decide to make an appointment. 1. Write it down on the 4 different pieces of paper your full name,address,ID number,post address etc., so that you can give it to the receptionist, while you are waiting. Because she doesn’t know what she is doing. She asked me 4 times in the space of 40 minutes who I was. In the waiting room was only 2 patients. 2. Bring your ID. Just to confirm who you are and may be even a letter from the police station. 3. And forget to bring with you your DNA test to confirm that you are you who you are. 4. Be prepared verbally harassed you a manager. Because, I was dear to ask why do you need my detail for 5th time.
Upon arrival front desk service is good and quick, appointments are on time and Dr Steenkamp is always very friendly,professional and efficient. I always leave feeling better.
Dr. Steenkamp is an absolute star. At last a compassionate GP that actually cares and does actual diagnosis. Every member of our family loves her to bits. Thanks team Cedar Family Med, keep it up!
