Exceptional Service, truly professional. I have been coming here for a number of years now and regardless of the optometrist or support, the service is still world class.

Last week I had just arrived in South Africa and stupid me I damaged my glasses. The team there were friendly and kindly fixed my bent frames for free. I’m super grateful as it allowed me to fully enjoy my vacation. They were busy when I went and I noticed that the same friendly care was given to all customers.

I experienced excellent service here, thank you to Nombuso and the rest of the spec-savers team. This was my first eye test and they found a way to accommodate me with short notice, whilst being very bubbly, welcoming and informative. Thank you! I am happy to keep coming back!

The service at the this Spec-saver is atrocious. You’re told that they have 10 minutes while you’re in the store and they won’t be able to assist with you certain things, as if we’re lazying around at home, as if we don’t have offices we report to. I don’t understand how I can be in the store before they close and be told I must come back tomorrow. Would an extra 10/15 minutes kill you to assist your clients? I think not.

Got my glasses from here 3 years ago, and had a great experience. Last night, I asked them to send my prescription from 3 years ago and Nombuso sent it first thing in the morning - which was super helpful to me

The Service I received from all staff at Specs Saver the Marc was exceptional. 5Stars to Thando for taking care of me and making sure I got my glasses the following day. Even when I wanted to change she was still so happy to help. I highly recommend :-

Tjo The service I received at the Spec-Savers The Marc, was appalling, terrible. I had to call every 2nd day to fall up on my order. When I eventual got a quote, I was told my specs will be ready after 10 days. I had to call them 3 weeks later only to be told that, I need to pay again and no has told me this before and what make it worse the ladies are all pointing fingers at everyone but themselves. The reason I went for specs is that I need them it was not for the fun, and now I have been struggling for over a month now. I real regret why I went there in the first place, will never again. Woodmead ladies have been very good to me.

Received the worst service from them. We ordered spectacles in early March they said 14 working days. The spectacles arrived and was informed that the frame is peeling or has scratches then would get from another spec saver waited more than two weeks to hear from them only for them to tell me that they no longer have stock and we must look for a similar pair online because instore they don’t have great glasses. Its May now and still haven’t received my specs. A whole two months!! Unacceptable! Disappointed by this branch. I went there after hearing such good things about their services.
